@ThePrimeagen I made pgroles for declarative PostgreSQL access control. Define roles, grants, and memberships in YAML. pgroles diffs against your live database and generates the exact SQL to converge it. CLI + k8s operator github.com/hardbyte/pgrol…

Awa v0.5.0 is out 🎉 Postgres-native background job queue for Rust & Python. What's new: → Sequential callbacks, HttpWorker → Production alerting metrics via OpenTelemetry TLA+ verified. No Redis. No RabbitMQ. Just #postgres. github.com/hardbyte/awa

Python is supported as a first class language (although awa itself is written in Rust). Python workers run on the Rust runtime via PyO3.

@alexalbert__ I feel like compaction could be much better, there are obvious facts established in early sessions that clearly don't get included which leads to incorrect assumptions or rework/rediscovery

@alexalbert__ Outside of planning mode, I find it can get too much tunnel vision and assume an incorrect course of action without any exploration of the project.

@alexalbert__ Biggest gripe is a tendency to avoid validation ignoring Claude.md instructions until explicitly prompted. Claiming success because it has written code but not actually validated it Nit: switch to agents.md

So October 15th, the extended US tax deadline, is just around the corner, and I have some observations which are more about LLM progress than taxes. Background: many people professionally involved with LLMs estimate 2026-2028 as the year where one can get an LLM to "do taxes."
