70,000 bookings for the Tata Sierra. It was expected. I had told Tata management to keep 70–80K cars ready when I got a chance to check it in person for the first time. I have stopped going to the gym and picking up calls from relatives because I am tired of explaining engine options.

Tata is playing it smart by pulling itself out of the fleet/taxi segment completely. These decisions come at a cost, but they will eventually help improve brand perception, especially with a more polished EV portfolio and upmarket-looking cars like the Sierra and Harrier.
