Newcastle need to accept the fact that Bruno Guimarães is leaving and there is nothing they can do to stop it. It simple. Negotiate a fair price with Arsenal. Accept it and find a replacement as soon as possible. Crying foul won't stop him from leaving.

All of them demanded inflated fees, tried to provoke bidding wars, or played games to squeeze every last penny or a combination of all three. In each case, we simply walked away. We are desperate for Guimarães, but not desperate enough to be taken advantage of. Accept our third bid. It’s the best and cleanest option for everyone.

£60m for Bruno Guimarães is fair. Anything above that is bad business. He’ll give you 3-4 elite Premier League years at most, so paying £80m-£100m makes no sense. Arsenal have to be ruthless, not emotional. Anything above that for a player entering his 30s isn’t smart investment, no matter how good he is.

So first time walking Newcastle city center yesterday in around 2/3 years as I live in America currently and the difference is very very scary. My boy wanted some food so we walked from the hotel on the quayside up to central station, up to the gate etc show him some of the old castle wall, then down to Northumberland street and we were very much the minority it wasn’t a pleasant walk not hearing 1 England conversation. I have obviously heard and read about things in England changing but to witness it with my own eyes, all the culture, heritage even just the people to have a conversation with to say hello on the street gone and the white people left were either homeless or pissed out there heads on the street WTF has happened to this great city !! Is this what it’s like in all city’s now ? Are white English people the ethnic minority? Had this got worse since the change in government in the city ? I’m off to Northumberland for the next week I’m and I’m hoping it’s not the case there! You better believe we need @RupertLowe10 in more than anything ! Thousands of years of good culture, what made Britain one of the best countries in the world being destroyed in front of our eyes just go take a walk in the town centre.

Bruno is almost 29, he isn't the most athletic, doesn't score as much as he should, can't get up and down the pitch like Tonali could and he wants away after a terrible world cup campaign for Brazil. The fact is if a £70m+ offer comes in for him, we should 100% let him go. We are bringing in young, exciting players that want to play here, that's a far more exciting prospect to me than holding onto players that want to leave for their own personal gain. #NUFC
