Bangalore Metro is the most customer unfriendly. They have no proper system. I had paid for online top up of my metro card. It did not get updated and the customer care has no clue. I am being cheated by them. Customers beware! @OfficialBMRCL @HardeepSPuri @PMOIndia

He has received intelligence that terrorists are planning the next big attack somewhere in his area of responsibility. Siachen. Minus 60 degrees. 20,000 feet above sea level. Frozen winds howling at 100 kmph. A soldier checks his weapon, scans the area in front of him for the hundredth time and gives an “all okay” report to his platoon commander. They will not sleep. Not this night or the next. Or the nights after that. In a village somewhere in India, a widow holds her two young children close to her. She points to a photograph on the wall. She tells them about their father who laid down his life for the country. She tells them that one day they will wear the uniform and follow in the footsteps of their father and serve the nation. This is what our soldiers undergo every single day. This is the price of our freedom. Today, spare a thought for the soldier. He is willing to die for you and he doesn’t even know who you are. That you are Indian is enough for him. And for that reason alone, he will sacrifice himself and his family for you. My New Year resolution is to be an Indian worth fighting for. What’s yours? Dear Kumaranna, before tweeting a long thread you should have got facts right. Total allocation to K’taka is 1015 MT + 60 MT of special allocation. That’s totally 1075 MT. The 120 MT that you mention is from only the one Oxy Express train that came to Bengaluru on May 11th.
