Since 20/21 - De Ligt has missed 69 games through injury (still no return date). - Harry Maguire has missed 56 games through injury - Lisandro Martinez has missed 101 games through injury Simply cannot rely any of the 3 staying fit for a full season. A CB is vital imo

Diego Leon and Tyrell Malacia are two forgotten Leftback at United. One was forgotten in the U21 and the other is forgotten on the bench and unused. Diego Leon has never been given a chance to show his talent in the first team and Tyrell Malacia is treated like he is shit, like he wasn’t an aggressive leftback. Tyrell Malacia just like Martinez was aggressive in his tackles and a good baller before his injuries which cost him a year and made him fall in the pecking order of leftbacks. I think these two should be given a chance to show the stuff they are made of, especially Tyrell Malacia.

Every elite team has a settled CB pairing except at Manchester United. The center back pairing at United is not based on form or balance but based on who survives the injury list. Going forward, which should be United the United Center back pairing to start; A. Martinez & Maguire B. Martinez & De ligt C. Maguire & De ligt D. Heaven & Martinez E. Heaven & Maguire F. Yoro & Martinez G. Yoro & De light H. Heaven & Martinez I. Heaven & De ligt J. Yoro & Maguire We have quality Centerback choices but it’s hard to see them find a bond of two that last together and build a solid partnership due to our injury crisis with defenders. Also, such array of centerback choices creates a real dilemma for coach on who to bench and who to start.

🚨If we are being honest with ourselves, we really wasted 12 months as a club with Ruben Amorim. This is not a direct criticism of him as a coach, but a criticism of the United board. They should never have appointed Amorim in the first place, especially considering his style of play and how different it was from what suits this squad. Watching us play today, you can see how comfortable the players are in their positions again. The team looks more natural, more confident and more like Manchester United should look. For the first time in a long while, I feel alive again watching United. #MUFC
