JUST IN: 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 THE U.S. TREASURY HAS SANCTIONED IRAN’S 🇮🇷 PERSIAN GULF STRAIT AUTHORITY, THE BODY RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING VESSEL TRANSIT THROUGH THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
BUT HOW IS THAT GOING TO WORK? I MEAN SHIPS ARE GOING TO SAIL THAT ROUTE, ARE YOU GOING TO SANCTION THEM FOR SAILING THROUGH THE STRAIT OR WHAT?
English

@harmoje This looks amazing.
The set up will now cost how much?
English

@JonBuhariTinubu @ruffydfire So happens if your roadworthiness has expired?
Will the police enforce fine or charge you for what exactly?
English

@ruffydfire The primary duty of police is to protect lives and properties, so there is absolutely nothing wrong for them trying to be sure your car will not cause harm to lives and properties. It's just the possible ulterior motive we should be talking about.
English

In Nigeria, the short answer is no, the police are technically not supposed to ask for a Certificate of Roadworthiness during routine checks on private vehicles. According to official directives from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), officers are only mandated to ask for three main documents:

Businessday NG
+1
1Driver’s Licence
2Vehicle Licence
3Certificate of Insurance

@Abdulrasheed_YK That's too much.
May be a mistake.
It happens, over selling and short selling.
Though an experienced attendant will notice a longer or shorter time of dispense.
No be everything is stealing, customers steal too
English

This guy almost cheated me this morning.
I paid for ₦35,000 on their POS to buy fuel.
He clearly called me to check my meter before he started dispensing the fuel and it was on zero.
Then I got distracted on my phone.
Shortly after, he said he was done and was about to reset the meter to attend to the next person.
Something told me to check, perhaps because of passed experience I had, so I told him to wait and let me check how much fuel he had given me.
When I checked again, I saw that it was only ₦3,500 he dispensed, Apparently, he wanted to steal ₦31,500 from me this early morning.
If you don’t want to be cheated at the filling station, do these two things:
- Check your meter before the attendant starts dispensing fuel into your tank.
- Check it again after dispensing is complete.
Those guys are not smiling

@toshine4u Serve him quite notice and copy the wife then let out the appointment to the woman afresh

English

My tenant called me last week from Nigeria that he has relocated to abroad, leaving his wife and children at home in Nigeria.
He said he doesn't want to have anything to do with them again and ask me to help him evict his wife from the house and threatened that if i fail to evict his wife
He will will SU£ me for adultery cos he is the one who paid for that apartment and i have no right to let them stay there since he is not there anymore
Meanwhile, the wife called to renew the rent this morning not knowing that the husband has called me not to accept the renewal
I ask her to hold the money and promise to get back to her this evening
Pls, I want to know if i can accept the rent renewal from the wife cos i don't want any case.

🇳🇬 JUST IN: Up to 200 Feared Dead After Nigerian Air Force Airstrike Hits Busy Market on Borno–Yobe Border
As many as 200 people are feared dead, with dozens injured, after a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) airstrike mistakenly struck a crowded weekly market on Saturday.
The incident occurred at Jilli Market, a key trading hub located between Gubio Local Government Area and Geidam Local Government Area, where traders from surrounding communities had gathered in large numbers.
According to eyewitnesses and local officials, fighter jets operating under Operation Hadin Kai launched the strike targeting suspected Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province elements believed to be active in the area.
However, the bombs missed their intended targets and hit the civilian market instead.
Multiple explosions tore through the crowded trading ground, sending traders and buyers fleeing in panic. Eyewitnesses described widespread devastation, with bodies scattered across the scene and many victims buried under debris.
Victims were rushed to the Specialist Hospital Geidam, where at least 14 injured persons are currently receiving treatment. Several others have reportedly been referred to Damaturu due to the severity of their injuries.
While initial eyewitness counts confirmed at least 56 bodies, local sources now warn that the true death toll could be significantly higher, with some estimates placing it at up to 200 fatalities as recovery efforts continue.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Nigerian Air Force and Defence Headquarters have yet to issue an official statement addressing the incident or confirming civilian casualties.
The Borno–Yobe border remains a volatile frontline in Nigeria’s ongoing counter-insurgency campaign, where civilian populations continue to face deadly risks as terrorists operate within and around local communities.
This is a developing story. Casualty figures are expected to be updated as more information emerges.

@seemarkmark @Drwhales_ Banking training is necessary. Commercial banks, merchant banks, development banks and bank of industry have their specialized functions. Opay is just normal credit and debit entries.
English

@Drwhales_ But are the banking school really necessary or just a corporate culture induction that could have been done with less stress for the new intake, reduce recruitment cost for the bank herself and rest.
Which banking school do Opay and her brother's has?

Many years ago, in GTBank training school. We were 40 in my cohort – a mix of First Class, 2:1, and 2:2 graduates from Nigerian and foreign universities.
Everyone that knows Banking knows how intense and competitive GTbank training school is. 4 months of rigorous training and examinations.
At the end, the valedictorian – the best among us was not a First Class graduate or 2:1. She was a 2:2 graduate from OAU. She scored over 90% btw.

@ruffydfire you can't believe some people do refill 200 naira gas almost every night where I work. There's this particular sibling, a boy and a girl that I do sell more gas or just let them go at times.
Clothes are covering most people.
It's a war to survive poverty.
oseni rufai@ruffydfire
Message to Rufai oseni am at Ile Epo market now and I saw something that moved me to tears 😭😭 I was shocked to my bones to see they cut yam to pieces to sell 500 naira because some people can't afford to buy a tuber of yam anymore.

One of my financial mistakes
2024 i opened a pure water factory for additional income.
In fact in my head I had imagined that it’s blood money business I was about to enter because I felt the expenses will be small so I imagined plenty profit.
In my mind I said after all I’m not buying the water.
Anyway let me first use 5 minutes to laugh at my self first before I start 😂😂😂
I bought every machine it needed to Nafdac standard,I also registered it with Nafdac so my sale was very legit.
That gave me my first experience with Nafdac
I started with 3 cars,a hilux truck and 2 open boot bikes.
We kicked off and my reality set in.
First of all printing of roll was more expensive than i thought, already taking half of my money.
Then as a producer our price is usually regulated with other factories,we cannot give drivers higher than other factories because we had a union binding us and it was part of our rules.
We are producers so we don’t sell directly,we give to drivers at cheaper rate then they sell and make their money.
As at that time I was giving each bag of water to my drivers at 120 naira a bag sometimes 150.
Now I will still buy fuel for the cars ooo
Even when i considered the option of them buying fuel and adjusting their price I still suffered for it.
I also pay each bagger 10 naira to bag 1 bag, this is minus other salaries of the people in production handling the major sealing machines ooo
I was burning electricity and light bill as if fire was burning my Nyash.
I changed filters every two weeks and it’s not cheap
I ran diesel to support Nepa because of course I live in Nigerian.
I had so many staffs on salaries too and there are so many other expenses i cannot say all here.
Abi is it car maintenance, story for another day 🥱
Drivers will owe me and they kept giving excuses that customers are owing them, all lies, infact me,drivers and police station became customers every week.
I gave most of this drivers accommodation ooo but the truth is they are full blown thieves.
At the end of every sales I make money but it goes like the wind to expenses and I will be left with only money to replace the rolls to produce again.
To cut the long story short I was close to running madd then I shut down the business and I regained my sanity.
If you have ever ran a pure water business you will understand this post better than anyone else, and if you intend to open a pure water factory first go to Amadioha and take juju make all your workers first swear oath before you start and take jazz not to run madd.
Which business showed you shege?

@ruffydfire Ighoho nah street guy , he's never an activist and never has any knowledge of what independence or creations of states. He was pushed to advocate for Yoruba nation.
English

Interestingly, the man fighting for Yorubanation is now a full campaigner.
Question is, is it because a Yoruba man is President?
Are the killings not still happening in Yoruba land, or is Ondo not Yoruba land?
Probably, he doesn’t see the killings.
Maybe when another non-Yoruba gets in. He will start again?
We can’t build a nation this way!
Fact is, every tribe plays the same politics, but it’s not best for Nigeria!
Again, the biggest beneficiaries of the national cake are not Nigerians!

🚨 Israeli Broadcasting Authority reports:
“The security negligence of Ali Larijani provided Israeli intelligence with a lead to assassinate him.”
According to the Hebrew channel:
The Israeli military deployed massive resources to track Larijani.
Larijani reportedly made a critical error described by Israeli officials as “security arrogance,” which became a clue to pinpoint his location.
He appeared publicly at marches (such as Quds Day rallies) and gave media interviews, allowing intelligence to track him digitally and visually.
The decisive information came last Monday when Larijani was observed entering a secret apartment.
The operation was postponed at the last moment to await additional confirmation (Positive ID) to ensure he was actually inside the building.
