@APompliano While I agree that being out competed is probably what tipped the scale for a considered ban; calling Tik Tok a better product feels like saying Fentanyl is just a better product than heroine… then again maybe I’m old.

TikTok became dominant in the US because no American company was able to build a better product. In the free market, US companies struggled to win so now the government is trying to ban the app due to geopolitical concerns. This should be a wake up call to the American government, tech sector, and education industry. We must ensure that the American workforce is better educated and trained, along with encourage entrepreneurship so we can better compete in the free market.

Sad news, I was impacted by the layoffs at Coinbase. Although it’s not an ideal situation, I’m trying to look at the positive. I was fortunate to be apart an amazing team and work on some awesome initiatives. I’m going to miss everyone. Onwards and upwards.
