Meghan Markle used her One Young World speech to talk about and elevate herself - even though she was explicitly asked to focus on the charity. The co-founder was already nervous about inviting her, and how does Meghan repay them? She f*cked it up. She never intended to be a team player at the Firm or anywhere else - she was always only ever in it for herself. As soon as she realized she wasn't getting her way with the royal family, she dipped out.

What’s the point of the Speaker of the House if he doesn’t make @Keir_Starmer answer the bloody questions on Mandelson? It’s a pantomime.

@Keir_Starmer And how exactly are you going to do that mate? By stuttering your way through another speech perhaps. Or sending a few tweets about it… I’m pretty sure your the laughing stock of most countries - no one’s going to listen to you you whimpering fool

I condemn in the strongest terms the overnight Iranian strike on a Qatari gas facility. We are working towards a swift resolution to the situation in the Middle East, in the best interests of the British people – because there is no question that ending the war is the quickest way to reduce the cost of living.

@labourpress @annaturley 🤣 that’s hilarious - how about asking your leader @Keir_Starmer to resign first & foremost. Would be better use of your time to be fair then writing this long arse email… the PMQ’s were a total embarrassment to your whole party! You don’t care about your country in any way.

A quote from a Donald Trump interview back in 1988 😱 “I’d be harsh on Iran. They’ve been beating us psychologically, making us look a bunch of fools. One bullet shot at one of our men or ships and I’d do a number on Kharg Island. I’d go in and take it. Iran can’t even beat Iraq, yet they push the United States around. It’d be good for the world to take them on.’ … this has been planned for years - this wasn’t about Nuclear weapons this was about Oil #donaldtrump #iran

Managed to get out of Dubai. The following is my personal opinion & experience 🇦🇪 Everything went quite seamless. Careem cabs operate normally. The airport is extremely well organized, considering the circumstances. The world has changed since Saturday and unfortunately, the country I moved to 3 years ago has been under heavy attacks. Why? No one really knows. However, I find it extremely disturbing that most media - including our beloved CT - exploits that serious situation to take cheap shots at Dubai and people who moved here. There are real families and hard working people affected. Most are scared or feel extremely uncomfortable. It's a traumatizing experience to hear missile interceptions right above your house. Nothing I wish for any human to ever experience, no matter if you pay 0% or 50% taxes. I don't even know what the link between those two things should be?? If anything, it proves that the UAE cares about their people and is able to protect its residents. Even at 0% income tax. Dubai was not known for it's strong military. It was always portrayed to be bling-bling golden steaks and influencers. But the UAE has shown the entire world that it can defend 1,000+ drones and 200+ missiles from a direct neighbor. That is impressive, whether you love or hate the UAE. Many countries would likely not be able to absorb that. So, if anything: Dubai and the UAE have demonstrated that the system works. I have lived in multiple countries around the world and the UAE is by far the most capable of handling crisis. Why did I leave Dubai then? Because it's not a situation I want to be in. Missile interceptions and drone explosions are no joke. Besides the danger that debris could hit your roof, there's an incredible intensity in the air. Most describe it as "intense calmness". While the Government managed to keep everyone from panicking, it's impossible for everyone to stay fully calm. And you can feel that in the day to day. The first night I got virtually no sleep. The night of my departure neither. I haven't left my house at all after the attacks started. But I'm out now. I really hope that leaving the country wasn't necessary, and that I will be able to come back to Dubai as soon as possible. And no, I'm not paid to say this, nor did I sign anything. Maybe part of the truth why no one who lives in Dubai has bad things to say about it is because it's one of the rare places on earth where people actually trust the Government and respect them? Not only for creating wealth and understanding business, but for caring and communicating in a way most other countries are simply incapable of. Anyways, I guess the point of this post is to 1) Tell everyone in Dubai that it's possible to leave right now. I know many people are very scared and want to get out. Be persistent with the airline if they cancel your flight and push hard to get rebooked on the next available one. And maybe choose a destination that isn't Europe, considering most of these flights are overbooked already and impossible to get on. 2) Dubai's self defense is impressive and we should acknowledge that. At least this one time, let's not derail into irrelevant discussions but show respect to the leaders + express empathy for those affected. 3) As an expat living in Dubai, I can still feel proud of my home country and do not have to choose. This isn't a black and white situation. Dubai is a melting pot of cultures and great place for Business. Other countries have better nature, social life or other things. It's also up to individual preference. 4) If you hate Dubai, yalla you don't need to live here, visit nor speak about it. Enjoy the place you live in and focus on your own. No need to feel triggered and take cheap shots at hard working people and families that are currently under heavy missile attacks. One final thing that really became clear to me this week is that after all, safety, health and living in freedom are absolutely priceless. May this all be over with soon and for sustaining peace to come in 🤲🏼

A View From Yorkshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Dear Prime Minister & Home Secretary, I hope this letter finds you well, fully caffeinated, and in possession of a calculator. I’m writing with what I believe is a modest, fiscally responsible proposal. I understand the Government is offering up to £40,000 to certain individuals to voluntarily leave the United Kingdom. First of all — bold strategy. Nothing says “strong borders” quite like a cashback scheme. Now, I regret to inform you that I am, in fact, a fully tax-paying, law-abiding British citizen. I know — awkward. I appreciate this may disqualify me from the premium exit package, but I’m willing to negotiate. I would like to formally apply for £35,000 to leave. You see, unlike some applicants, I haven’t broken any laws to get here. I didn’t arrive by dinghy. I didn’t require processing, housing, or legal appeals. I’ve actually been funding the whole operation through PAYE for years — which I believe makes me a loyal shareholder in this enterprise. Given that you’re prepared to offer £40,000 for someone to depart voluntarily after entering illegally, I feel £35,000 for someone who’s been here legally all along represents excellent value for money. Think of it as a “Buy British, Get One Gone” discount. For £35,000 I will:    •   Leave quietly.    •   Not require a press conference.    •   Not demand a diversity officer to wave me off.    •   Even carry my own suitcase to the airport. I may also tweet a polite thank-you note on departure, praising the efficiency of the scheme. Frankly, it feels like I’ve misunderstood how incentives work in modern Britain. All these years I thought obeying the law, paying taxes, and contributing to society were the winning strategy. Turns out the real pro-move is to arrive unlawfully and wait for a loyalty bonus. Who knew? While British families are juggling rent, energy bills, and the weekly food shop like contestants on a dystopian game show, it’s reassuring to know the Treasury has located a spare £40,000 per head for voluntary goodbyes. May I ask — is there a points card? Ten years of National Insurance contributions and I get a free exit bonus? If so, I believe I’m overdue. In the spirit of fairness and fiscal responsibility, I am not even asking for the full £40,000. I’m trimming £5,000 off to help balance the books. That’s the kind of responsible budgeting I was raised on. If successful, I promise to:    •   Leave via a scheduled flight (economy is fine).    •   Not stage a protest on the runway.    •   And refrain from re-entering on a small boat to see if I qualify twice. All I ask is equal treatment. If departure is now a funded career pathway, I would very much like to submit my CV. Yours in hopeful relocation, A slightly confused taxpayer

Not sure how you could be so nonchalant after losing three of your kids. If I lost my daughters you wouldn’t be able to interview me cuz I’d have a bullet in my head. This mom is either involved in their deaths or she’s just a huge piece of shit.

So let me get this straight. Prince Harry walked away from duty, responsibility, and service. He trashed the institution. Monetised his grievances. Accused his family, his country, and his people of cruelty and abuse. Moved to California to cosplay as a persecuted celebrity. And now, after all that, the UK taxpayer is expected to automatically fund armed police protection for his visits. Not because he serves the country. Not because he represents the Crown. But because he made himself a global target by running his mouth for money. This is not “fairness.” This is rewarding recklessness. Security risk is not something that magically appears. It is created. By interviews. By books. By Netflix tantrums. By deliberately inflaming hatred while cashing the cheque. You do not get to light the fire and then demand the public pay for the fire brigade. And let’s address the emotional blackmail being wheeled out right on cue. “Family visits.” “Children’s safety.” “Grandfather.” Interesting how the kids only become relevant when taxpayer-funded perks are on the table. Meghan Markle chose to leave. They both chose to leave. They chose distance. They chose exposure. They chose profit over privacy. The UK did not exile them. They flounced. Calling this a “formality” is insulting. Calling it compassion is dishonest. Calling it necessary is absurd. Millions of people face threats without armed police escorts. Public servants who actually work for the country do not get this level of protection. But a California resident who despises Britain apparently does. If he wants state protection, he can return to state duty. If he wants a private life, he can pay for private security. What he does not get is all the benefits with none of the responsibility. This is not about safety. It is about entitlement. And the British public should be furious.
