read books. challenging ones. have hobbies that require problem solving, bonus if they are lightly physical. do puzzles, paper ones. spend time deep cleaning, cooking new recipes, and learning how to do household repairs. doing nothing but Look At Phone will kill you

@ElectoralCommUK How is this fair? My postal vote was SO late arriving, I was away 27th June-3rd July and assumed I could have it all sorted before then. I live abroad and can’t make it to a polling station. Thousands are being denied a voice!

If you have already applied to vote by post, you cannot now apply to vote by proxy. Changes from a postal to a proxy vote needed to be made before the deadline for postal vote applications, which was 5pm on Wednesday 19 June.

What a shambles. I applied for my postal vote WELL before the deadline, and less than a week before the election still received nothing… now I have it but it’s too late to send. And too late for a proxy. Done everything right and still denied a vote! #UKElection
