@Tuxy81 Foxtel: you will pay your $70 and be grateful for "Big Bash" rugby league with more tries than a fat kid attempting to climb a fence.

Dr. Anna Cody, Australia's Sex Discrimination Commissioner just said: If a transgender woman (man) is denied a job because they said they intend to have children, then this is discrimination “on the basis on POTENTIAL pregnancy.” Oh my god.

@disco___cat There's two years before the next election. If ON sticks on message and continues hammering this government's poor record they will pick up plenty of 2nd and 3rd preferences from the moderate left and right. At the rate ON is traveling now, this is a reasonable expectation imo.

@Q2Quokka He does raise a good point though. There is a lot of noise around ON currently and this will attract plenty of unengaged voters. They won't know what they're voting for, just that the status quo isn't working for them. The greens and ON will just pick them off one by one.

I think this actually proves a very important point. One Nation being the most right-leaning major party in Australia does not mean every member has to fit some cartoon “far-right” stereotype people online invent. You can support lower immigration levels overall while still liking immigrants as individuals. You can be conservative and be gay. You can support engineering-backed energy policy that actually delivers reliable and affordable power for Australians without that having anything to do with sexuality or ideological tribalism. Most normal Australians care far more about whether the lights stay on and whether they can afford groceries than whether politicians fit neatly into online labels.
ADAM@adamemedia1

This is a “far-right” politician who was just elected in Australia. He proceeded to come out as gay and announce “I love immigrants.” Supporters are FUMING. Bro was a Trojan horse 😂

@OneNationAus One Nation welcomes all who contribute to our economy, celebrate our culture and believes in our values. If you do all those things, who cares if they're gay, straight, Muslim etc. One Nation, One Flag.

The electorate of MacKillop was the Liberal's safest seat in South Australia and taken for granted for years. Not any more. Last week Jason Virgo the new One Nation member made clear his determination to never stop fighting for regional SA!

@Anti_Ma773R_One @TopherField It was the right thing to do. Owned the mistake like a man 💪 Topher would be seething that he missed the opportunity to slam the stupid electric truck concept.

@harry_james57 @TopherField To what end though? The central argument was based on a admitted misunderstanding? It's a poor flex to run it as is, but oh well. He turned the L to a W by owning the mistake. Incredible grit shown.

This might be my worst mistake... ever? Tough day at the office for sure. There's no 'nice' way to say this, I screwed up my debate on Punters against Daniel Bleakley badly. Actually one of my worst clangers... ever. And it's 100% on me. I built my entire approach to the debate around something I genuinely believed to be true about my Daniel's company... but I was wrong. Trouble is I didn't realise I'd made that mistake till we were well into the debate, and it wasn't till AFTER the debate that I was able to go back and actually confirm... I'd screwed up my research. Sadly it means I've made an idiot of myself, and I've failed to represent you as I should have, and this one's going to live rent-free in my head for a while. In this video I tell you what happened, then when the debate comes out on Punters Politics you can watch it there and decide for yourself. Ugh. Not my favourite day. topherfield.com

If Malcol Turnbull, Simon Holmes à Court and their 'terrific' Teals, were to form a party with the left-wing Liberals, what would you call it? I'd call it Disingenuouty Australia.

@TopherField Punters politics should give you a redo and scrap the first take given the fact you just admitted your mistakes. To go ahead in this context is akin to a gotcha and very dishonourable. Maybe use it for b roll as an intro in hard cuts and start fresh?

Channel Nine commentator Brad Fittler has apologised to Tom Chester and the Cowboys after a bizarre moment in the commentary of last night’s win. Fittler referred to Chester as “Chester the Molestor” after the centre bombed a try in the second half.

I've said this a few times. DAZN, who recently bought Fox Sports....CAN NOT AFFORD TO LOSE THE NRL BROADCASTING RIGHTS! If they do, their investment drops immediately. Its affects subs, and advertising. It would be a disaster. #RugbyLeague #NRL

@lesstenny Would much rather a super-system established for first home owners that allows them to add tax-free money from their wages. Then when they've saved enough they can use that for their first property. 1. This would reduce their taxable income 2. It doesn't impact everyone else.

Both Sunday #AFL and #NRL FTA broadcasts were 3 hour affairs, a rare apples with apples comparison that the NRL won on average, but the AFL won on reach.

@cryptojesus69 @AusPoll6 I get why people would approve of it. Simplistic messaging of "tax the rich" is gobbled up by many and we kinda know who these people are. I still think that 43% is a pretty high number considering how dog shit capital gains tax is in general.

@harry_james57 @AusPoll6 More so the 28% that approve tbh. The changes are confusing so being unsure is less retarded than liking them
