@heyandras One thought I had was to allow agents inside the folder (which you already support), which can then make changes to the respective git repos (but its easy said than done)

@heyandras The main problem was the agent not trying to go look at the other projects to get the right context for their plan. I have to force it to go look at the other folders in the same root folder.

Hey @heyandras, been using jean and totally loving it. Had a question, if we have a folder which contains various git projects, and these projects all talk to each other. example apis etc. If we want to make a change that affects multiple projects, and plan it, I am unable to do that via jean unless I make my main folder as a git repo. In those cases, I have to run claude in terminal inside the main folder. Any ideas how I can do the same with Jean?

@refine_dev is such an underrated piece of tech! There's nothing similar that exists. I just build an elasticsearch connector and was able to get data flowing in minutes.

48 days ago - I was making $0/month. No income. No clue what I was doing. Then I saw @marclou video randomly pop up on my YouTube feed. He was building apps and making money online - with full freedom. I got so obsessed I knew I had to ship something. Anything. Fast. Then - I Started learning to code, committed to showing up every single day on X And finally - i made it 🥲 - shipped my first app. - June : $131 - July : $92 with 6 days left 🥹 - Grew my X to 5K+ - got monetized and made $90 as my first X payout

@yongfook Thank you for saying that. I have been trying to say the same thing at my company, no matter how good you architect, we always have to change things as we realise. AI assumes that humans would give perfect responses and then it can do the work. That's not the reality though

Vibe coded some stuff yesterday. Happily typed in some detailed prompts and off Claude went, building exactly what I asked. Came back to it later and realised I should be implementing it in a much different way, so all the code is redundant. I feel like if I was manually coding, in the gradual process of building the feature bit by bit, I would have realised this earlier on and changed course. Sure I can now ask Claude to refactor, but something about this feels hollow. I know with AI it's probably faster overall (even with refactoring) but I feel like it's a net loss. By manually coding I build up knowledge about my codebase, and spot problems as I go, adapt, and learn. I become a better problem solver. With AI it's like driving 100mph for a while then hitting a wall, reversing, then driving another 100mph before hitting another wall. I don't think that style of work really fits me as a person, I prefer slow / steady / learn / invest. Always have.

Tried Vibe Coding for a serious app, I had to spend more time removing stuff that I dont need and rework the database structure again. Time that I could have spent writing the code in the first place and learned. Vibe coding is good for a quick feature or design.

@Shpigford Ide for reviewing the code using windsurf for that. But anything is good, claude code for serious work, and windsurf chat for small scripts.

@evanyou Plans to make it compatible with security rules plugins that eslint has? Or actually any other popular plugins for that matter.

The Oxc team just cracked two things: - JS custom rules, with ESLint compatible API. We invested heavily into the underlying implementation to make it fast without the typical data-passing drawback of JS-in-native plugins. More details soon! - Type-aware rules. Full coverage no-floating-promise powered by tsgolint, configured and reported like the rest of oxlint rules. Oxlint is going to be so 🔥

@ImSh4yy @cursor_ai I'm having trouble with it not reading the relevant files and rather assuming the implementation. The implementation however is very good. Consistent with what I want to change and my coding style. How are you able to do it ?

@iannuttall How do you ask gemini to use the context and relevant files automatically? I see that sonnet does that by default but gemini even though the quality is good but it guesses too much instead of looking at the correct files.

first impressions on llama 4 scout and maverick - love the huge context, just put your entire codebase into it! - seems bad at coding - sometimes gets its right, other times messes up badly - reasoning > training tokens/params for coding, gemini 2.5 pro is still my go-to

I keep getting surprised with how easy it is to do something like this with SiteGPT.ai v2. This bot is now capable of sending emails on its own. It is writing the subject, body and everything by itself 😅

Tried many AI tools to summarize long Youtube videos (English). I realised that (getrecall.ai) is the best. It provided very detailed summaries. But, there were some errors when summarizing some Indian accents. A small excerpt of LawSikho concall summary-

Does anyone know how to cache and invalidate user specific data in server actions in nextjs? The implementations I am looking at are using unstable_cache from @nextjs which is awkward and does not really have a good way to invalidate user specific data.
