If we are increasing the number of lok sabha MP from 543 to 850 and giving 33% reservation to women, we should also give 10% reservation to income taxpayer. I.e 10% of total MP seats should be filled by someone who has been paying minimum 5L income tax per year for atleast 5 years. Income tax payers are the biggest reason why this country runs smoothly, still hardly any MP talks about their issues, how they get almost no returns on their tax. It's very essential to have someone in parliament who have felt the pain of seeing 1/3rd of their salary going to income tax to make sure their tax money gets invested or spent on something meaningful.
