Janam Din | ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ | جنم دن It’s my birthday today. Another year gifted by Waheguru Ji. For that, I bow my head in gratitude. To my parents, for giving me life. To my community and the Saint-Soldier spirit that raised me. To society, for shaping me in ways I understand and in ways I still don’t. To Waheguru, the eternal giver of breath. To the universe itself, for allowing me to exist in this fleeting blink of time. Older? Yes. Wiser? Trying my best. This 17th September, I complete 8 years of my transformation journey. I have tried lived these 8 years with: Sabar | ਸਬਰ – Patience Shukar | ਸ਼ੁਕਰ – Gratitude Sukoon | ਸਕੂਨ – Peace This year, while reflecting on life, I added two more elements: Sidak | ਸਿਦਕ – Faith Santohk | ਸੰਤੋਖ – Contentment These five principles have been leading and guiding my life. It takes a village to raise a child. And, I am grateful to every one who had taught me even the smallest bit to lead my life to the fullest. But, a birthday is not just a date; it’s a reminder that life is borrowed, fragile, precious. Celebrations are more than cake or balloons - they are gratitude for survival, awe for existence, and a quiet vow to live deeper. Every birthday is not just a mark of survival but also a whisper: one step closer to the silence that ends all noise. So I try to live - fully, truthfully, courageously. For one day, these candles will burn without me, and only my story will remain in the hearts I touched. I am indebted to each one of you! The Saint Soldier 🙏
