These very lands were disputed earlier too, and both the Karnataka High Court and the Supreme Court had ruled in favour of the farmers. Yet here we are again. Because clearly, the Waqf Board operates above everyone else, right? The only logical solution is this: let the government take control of all Waqf properties and make the Board prove its claims, not force citizens to keep defending what courts have already settled.

The Karnataka Congress Government had earlier indicated a willingness to compromise on Bandipur in pursuit of electoral gains in Wayanad. Now, in the run-up to the Kerala elections, it has sanctioned an additional ₹10 crore to Wayanad. This comes at a time when Karnataka’s fiscal position is visibly strained - marked by record borrowings, delayed payments to contractors and employees, and a clear compression of capital expenditure. Such decisions raise fundamental questions about fiscal prudence and the prioritisation of public resources. When governance within the state is under stress, the diversion of attention and funds beyond its borders reflects not statesmanship, but political expediency. Karnataka’s interests cannot be subordinated to external electoral calculations.

While Karnataka battles massive debt & farmer distress, Congress CM @siddaramaiah is happily gifting another ₹10 crore of our taxpayers' money to Priyanka Gandhi's Wayanad constituency in Kerala. Ahead of Kerala polls, this isn't a humanitarian gesture, clearly it's servitude to the Gandhi high command. Kannadigas' hard-earned money should build Karnataka first, not buy votes in a neighbouring state.

The left picture is me at 7 yo when I was living in Iran under the Islamic regime. They forced me to wear a full hijab to attend school, if I didn’t, they wouldn’t let me enter. They made me wear it from a young age to avoid “provoking” men in society, claiming it was all because of Allah. They also forced me to be Muslim, read the Quran, and learn every rule and detail about it. The truth is, I never wanted any of it, even as a child. The real me is the picture on the right. They took my rights and my freedom and called it Islam. Now I’m in the USA. I wear whatever I want, do whatever I want, and I’m very grateful for this freedom. I now feel it’s my duty to raise awareness, share my story and experiences with the world, so people know what true Islam is and aren’t fooled by the image the media tries to show them.
