It's a great pleasure to share our latest collaborative work detailing the composition and structure of the highly rRNA-fragmented mitoribosome from Apicomplexa, such as Plasmodium falciparum and Toxoplasma gondii, now out in @NatureComms rdcu.be/d3R8C

We used cryo-EM to characterize five TRPV3 mutants causing severe genodermatosis Olmsted syndrome (OS). Our results highlight conserved TRP channel gating mechanisms, uncover the molecular basis of OS and provide a guide for future therapeutic strategies. nature.com/articles/s4146…
