I said this 6 months ago and if you want to know why ADC is more confused than the mad man that used to advise Gregory, here are the facts; 1. A party where everybody wants to be president (selfish) cannot build a virile opposition 2. A party built on hostile take-over cannot survive the storm 3. A party where the members have double standards that they apply to people cannot see road 4. A party where the presidential aspirants have changed political parties like chameleon cannot have ideology 5. A party where their leaders see Nigerians as a means to an end cannot coordinate 6. A party where their leaders’s desperation is a do or die affair cannot govern Nigerians Finally, have you not noticed that they are more confused now than they were when their journey started? I said it before, “give them six months and they would come crashing”; it is evident before our very eyes. Say no to association of desperate congregation (ADC)

Eid Mubarak 🌙✨ As we mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest greetings to Muslim faithful in Nigeria and across the world. Eid is a celebration of faith, sacrifice, discipline, and compassion, values that remind us of our shared humanity and collective responsibility to care for one another. May the lessons of Ramadan continue to guide our actions, strengthen our unity, and inspire us to build a more peaceful, just, and prosperous nation. May Allah accept our prayers, fasting, and acts of charity and grant peace, joy, and abundant blessings to every home. Eid Mubarak.

PRESS STATEMENT In the last 24 hours, social media has exploded over my interview with Mehdi Hassan, albeit with varied opinions. Let me set the record straight. When I signed on to the privileged job granted to me by Mr. President, I was well aware of its implications. Selling ice cream, looking fine, and seeking the praises of men were never part of it. Some of the fiercest critics of my interview can not even stand local TV anchors. But the task of promoting and defending the President and his administration is what I do with ease and joy. I am prepared to appear before any interviewer, anywhere in the world, any day and at any time, to defend this government and its policies. I have never, and will never, subscribe to ducking or dodging interviews on matters that concern promoting and defending the administration I was appointed to serve. It is the least of what is required of me. Head to Head contacted me requesting an interview, stating that they wanted to challenge our government on security, the economy, and corruption. Nowhere in our almost six months of communication did they mention that they were going to challenge my past. If that had been their plan, ethically and professionally, they were supposed to inform me so I could prepare my response. But that’s okay, ethically, that is on them, not on me. I refused to swallow the pill of Mehdi’s “opposition research-style journalism,” and even today, if you carefully compare what he read as quotes from organisations and groups, you will see that many were inaccurate and some were outright fake news. But I will leave that for another day. As for what I said about President Tinubu in the past, I am glad those were things I said when I was in the opposition saddle with such zeal. It is all politics. Half of Donald Trump’s cabinet is made up of people who once spoke against him, and quite a number of people in our own cabinet also spoke against President Tinubu in the past. Those things do not bother him if you care to know. The majority of the naysayers are members of the opposition and their sympathisers. It does not bother me one bit. Their temporary excitement over the interview has not lasted and will not last, because it does not take away their obvious problem of lack of vision, mission in conducting and managing a political party; yet they seek to manage Nigeria. Clearly they have no path to victory and no alternative policies or program for the Nigerian people. And if they say they do, they can as well go to head to head and be interrogated on that; as the saying in Hausa goes “Ga fili Ga doki” I conclude by thanking the many Nigerians and non-Nigerians who sent in their commendations over my brave defence of our government in an interview where the anchor would hardly let you answer a question unless it suited his narrative. I still have admiration and respect for Mehdi Hassan as arguably the best debater on the planet. I look forward to part two of the Head to Head interview, and I am glad that by then questions about my past will no longer be news so that we can focus on our administration’s policies, programs and what we have achieved so far. Stay tuned. – D.H Bwala Special Adviser to President on Media and Policy Communication (State House) Saturday March 7, 2026

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing of His Excellency, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd), GCFR, my predecessor, who departed this life today, Sunday, July 13, 2025, at a hospital in the United Kingdom. President Buhari was to the very core, a patriot, a soldier, a statesman. His legacy of service and sacrifice endures. He served Nigeria with unwavering dedication, first as a military leader from January 1984 to August 1985, and later as a democratically elected President from 2015 to 2023. Duty, honour, and a deep commitment to the unity and progress of our nation defined his life. He stood firm through the most turbulent times, leading with quiet strength, profound integrity, and an unshakable belief in Nigeria’s potential. He championed discipline in public service, confronted corruption head-on, and placed the country above personal interest at every turn. In this moment of national mourning, I extend my deepest condolences to his beloved wife, Aisha, with whom I have been in constant touch, his children, the entire Buhari family, and all who knew and loved him. I also extend my condolences to the government and people of Katsina State, most especially the people and traditional leaders of Daura Emirate. We honour his service. We reflect on his legacy. And we pray for the peaceful repose of his soul. As a mark of respect to our former leader, I have directed that all national flags fly at half-staff across the country for seven days from today. I have also summoned an emergency Federal Executive Council session on Tuesday, dedicated to his honour. The Federal Government will accord President Buhari full state honours befitting his towering contributions to our country. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. And may his life continue to inspire generations of Nigerians to serve with courage, conviction, and selflessness. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President, Federal Republic of Nigeria July 13, 2025

I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, a man whose life was defined by unflinching patriotism, stoic discipline, and a lifelong commitment to the sovereignty and unity of our great nation. President Buhari was not just a former Head of State, he was a symbol of Nigeria’s resilience. From the battlefield to the corridors of power, he served with the kind of austere conviction and firm belief in duty that marked him as a soldier of principle and a leader of formidable will. His death is not just a loss to his immediate family and the people of Daura, it is a profound national tragedy. Nigeria has lost a statesman who bore the burdens of leadership in both turbulent and triumphant times and whose legacy will be remembered for generations to come. To his beloved family, I offer my deepest condolences. I pray for strength and comfort in this time of grief. To the people of Katsina State and the entire nation, I mourn with you. May we all take solace in the knowledge that he gave his life to the service of Nigeria and never wavered in his belief in her promise. May Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus. -AA

The passing away of a legend, the former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, May Allah have mercy on his soul, brought me to tears! He was an upright man, who never missed his prayers and a very disciplined believer who served his people to the best of his ability. His name was synonymous with integrity. He was definitely one of those who made me develop a much better perception of Nigerians as a people. May Allah Almighty forgive your shortcomings and grant you the highest ranks of Jannah. Aameen. May Allah Almighty make it easy for his family, friends and the nation of Nigeria.

My attention has been drawn to a statement purportedly stating my position on the recurring political realignments in Nigeria. I wish to categorically state that such statements are false, unfounded, and products of political mischief. I have refrained from commenting on contemporary political events and I will continue to do so for the time being. In this regard, I urge the public to only engage statements that come from my public handles and other official sources. - RMK

I was in the State House, Abuja today to receive our children who were unconditionally released from detention following the intervention of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The children were handed over to me by the Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON after the charges of treason against them for participation in the August 2024 protests were withdrawn. In the course of our interaction with the children after the handover, it was clear that many of them were manipulated by some conflict entrepreneurs out to create a major upheaval in Kaduna State, and by extension Nigeria. I assured the children that after undergoing psychosocial counseling, the State Government will ensure that those of them who are students will be supported to return back to school, while those with skills will be supported with work tools and resources.
