DMCA news: Circumvention Claims Increased 41% -> GitHub Reports DMCA Takedown Record and Surging Anti-Circumvention Claims "As an intermediary, GitHub allows rightsholders to submit DMCA takedown notices to get infringing content removed. In addition, it also accepts DMCA anti-circumvention notices, requesting the removal of projects that bypass copy controls and restrictions." "GitHub has published its 2025 transparency report, revealing record levels of DMCA takedown activity across two separate metrics. The total number of removed projects increased to 47,228, while the number of circumvention claims jumped by more than 40% to 645." torrentfreak.com/github-reports… via @torrentfreak

The mood regarding the Opus 4.7 update has shifted. If I had to guess, I'd say 60% are disappointed with the latest update, while 40% are positive. I'm still undecided myself. Here's a good summary from someone on Reddit. What's your take on it so far?

@MordyOberstein killing it again. Seriously, when is his Vegas act opening up? :) E.g. Like this quote: "Forum discussion wherever actual humans with a soul and a shred of decency and integrity appreciate Barry Schwartz (not the psychologist - I mean, I guess he’s fine too, whatever)." I wonder if Wikipedia contributors will read this. They should. :) seroundtable.com/wikipedia-dele…
