Nobody at the FDA, CDC, NIAID, WHO, or the litany of other US or world agencies or the pharma industry will profit a thin dime unless there is the creation of a "new" vaccine. They are fkn you. truepundit.com/exclusive-robe…

@HannahIamthest1 The 3 other siblings and I got used bicycles one Christmas and there weren’t any training wheels (I was the youngest). Dad stuck us on the street out front (asphalt) and turned us loose. Didn’t take me long to figure out what long pants were good for. Life was good!

Growing up meant being outside until the light started fading and someone called you home. You made your own fun, got a little dirty, and didn’t think twice about it. There was a kind of freedom in that routine that’s hard to recreate now. It’s the kind of thing you appreciate more as the years go by.

@haveaconcern When I was a kid, you took whatever you were taking for about a week. Cough syrup was whiskey, honey, and lemon. Mercurochrome, iodine, and Vicks cured everything else...

A brand-new grocery store opened in my neighborhood last week. 🏬 The produce section has these fancy automatic water misters to keep the vegetables fresh. 🥦 Right before they spray, you hear the sound of distant thunder… ⛈️ and the smell of fresh rain fills the air. 🌧️ When you walk over to the dairy section, you hear cows mooing softly… 🐄 and there’s even the scent of fresh hay in the air. 🌾 Head past the egg display and hens start clucking… 🐔 while the smell of bacon and eggs cooking drifts through the aisle. 🍳🥓 It’s all very impressive. But I’ll tell you one thing… I don’t buy toilet paper there anymore. 🚽😆

I love scam phone calls. I pretend I’m an old Yorkshire lad, desperate to pay them. My record’s an hour. I kept putting them on hold to “check my wallet,” yelling at my cat, and asking if they could speak up because my hearing aid was acting up. Then I spent 30 minutes reading my card details wrong… real slow. At one point, I told them my kitchen was on fire Great fun 😆

I love 410 shotguns. You can dump the lead out and stick an arrow down the barrel into the shell and have one hell of a bow! It will shoot an arrow 100 yards accurately. Don't tell anyone I told you though.

@FrankBr05713205 Had a buddy, and he owned a shop, was a good mechanic, bought his wife one. Asked him how hard it was to work on and he said he didn’t know because he always took it to Cadillac to be worked on. Made me realize I’d better stick with normal…

Here is a cool cut away of a Cadillac Northstar V8 engine. It was an engineering Marvel at the time, but ended up giving Cadillac a big black eye. These engines are powerful, and once touted as one of the smoothest running engines ever made. It featured an aluminum block and cylinder heads with cast-iron cylinder liners and four valves per cylinder. But while its design and performance was very impressive, it became infamous for significant reliability issues most notably head gasket failures. It had head bolts that would stretch and pull out of the aluminum block causing coolant loss and severe overheating. As a technician one of the things I thought odd about this engine was its starter location. The starter was inside the engine under the intake manifold.! The engines can be fixed but it’s a fairly expensive operation. These engines were produced from 1993 to 2011 and was an example although it looked good on paper, in real life It just didn’t work out so good.

@FrankBr05713205 Ouch! Got a buddy who bought one of the new Grenadiers. Busted a windshield, $1300. Got the oil changed at the dealership, and it was insane! Said it cost him $1800. Makes me love the old 4Runner more every day.

For years cars have used hydraulic steering racks that used power steering fluid. Todays cars use electric steering racks which use no power steering fluid. Biggest difference to car owners is replacement cost. The hydraulic rack can be had for approx. $200 to $300 on most cars (plus labor). The electric rack will set you back $ 1,800 (part only) and much more depending on vehicle and they have to be programmed after installation. Technology comes at a cost many times. I will stick to keeping a 3 dollar bottle of power steering fluid on hand for my older car.

Looks like War On the Rocks opened up a massive rabbit hole. I’m done with them, but they just led me to a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.🌈 🍀 I always did have the luck of the Irish, Happy Saint Patrick’s day! And stay tuned for a huge story! I’m not certain when it will be ready tho.

@HannahIamthest1 Went back and looked at state annexations, and realized when I was born, there was only 48 states. I’ve seen 8 decades, 2 centuries, and 2 millennia… now I feel old!

Climate Change summed up in 15 seconds. Human caused fossil fuel emissions has real world implications on volcanic activities. Volcanos didn’t erupt before the Industrial Revolution.
