@BlondeMAGAinNJ I would ask cab drivers at the airport what their longest ever trip was. One in Dallas told me of a businessman who got kicked off a flight at DFW and hired the cab to take him to St Louis. The guy slept most of the way. That’s one way to twist off!

@MustangMan_TX Boston. One of the members was an MIT grad and they built their own studio to record. Favorite band of that era was Kansas. The musical talent pool in that group of gentlemen was DEEP.

@FrankBr05713205 Another instance of a skill being far more valuable than a sheepskin. I'm fixing to pay a guy $500 for a couple of hours of his time, not because of his degree, but because of his knowledge.

I spent most of my career as a mechanic, later they called us technicians. But they also called us grease monkeys, dumb blue collar workers, wrenches, motorheads, exhaust sniffers and more. But with the skills I acquired being an automotive technician, I never once had to pay someone to repair any of my vehicles, never once had to pay for any home repairs, never had to pay for an electrician or plumber, built my own house, installed my own heating and air conditioning and more. We automotive technicians are not dumb grease monkeys like so many of the movies and TV shows portray us to be! Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.
