Hundreds of people stand in endless lines, not waiting for luxury, not searching for comfort… but simply waiting for water.
Women carry empty containers for hours. Men struggle to reach the water distribution point through the crowds. Children have grown up believing that waiting in line for water is just another part of everyday life.
When water becomes a dream, humanity has already been stripped away.
Constant thirst has become the reality of thousands of people across Gaza, as the ongoing genocide continues to deprive them of the most basic necessity for survival - water.

This elderly father lost his leg, but he refuses to let his adult sons shoulder every burden. Each morning he leaves on his own, determined to find whatever he can to help his family survive. Like so many parents in Gaza, he still sees it as his responsibility to protect those he loves.
When families trust us with their stories, we listen. Alongside serving entire camps with hot meals, we also provide larger food parcels to those who share their story and tell of their extraordinary hardship. It's our way of standing beside them and thanking them for speaking about their most vulnerable moments.
On July 1, The Sameer Project distributed 398 rice with kofta meals…388 meals to families in Al-Thuraya Camp in Al-Zawayda and 10 meals to our medical point.
In addition, we also supplied this Hajj, Mr. Suleiman, with a food parcels to thank him for opening up about his story.
