Part 2! Seyi enters the chat
Scene: Same living room. Door bursts open. Seyi walks in with sunglasses, even though NEPA just took light again.
Seyi: Sorry o, did I interrupt the cabinet meeting? 😏 I heard someone here wants my seat.
Oriyomi: chokes on yam Bros Seyi! Welcome. We were just... discussing roadmaps. Literally, the road to Sango is bad.
Seyi: Roadmaps ke? I have road receipts. I’ve been governing while you're shouting Gbenu si mic on Radio.
Badru: whispering to Oriyomi! Bro, your opponent just did a surprise visit. This is like debate round 0.
Oriyomi: stands up, brushes agbada! No problem. Oyo people love competition. Even Big Brother has eviction nights.
Mum: Seyi, will you eat? There’s yam.
Seyi: I don’t eat yam during campaign season. Too heavy. I survive on poll numbers and press statements.
Oriyomi: That explains it. I’m running on yam and the will of the people 🍲💪.
NEPA: Light blinks twice and goes off again
Both Oriyomi & Seyi: I WILL FIX THAT!
Badru: Omo... this state is about to have 2 ministers of power 😂
Mum: Until then, both of you come and fan this soup. Power starts at home.
Mohbad death controversy — 2023 to 2025*
- *What happened*: After Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, Hamzat placed a ban on Naira Marley’s songs on Agidigbo FM due to public allegations of Marley’s involvement.
- *His judgment*: He maintained the ban for nearly 2 years as public sentiment demanded accountability. But after a Magistrate Court ruled that Naira Marley and others _“were not in any way responsible for Mohbad’s demise”_, Hamzat went on air and publicly apologized.
- *Result*: He lifted the ban live on Agidigbo FM and played “Tesumole” to affirm it. Quote: _“I am very sorry for all my provocative statements or words to Naira Marley.”_. That showed willingness to reverse course based on facts, not just public pressure.
Oriyomi Hamzat will never mount on you pressure based on criticism or ethnicity hatred,he’ll be ready to serve the case to be justified
The award mspsp is indeed earned not gifted

One thing about Oriyomi Hamzat is that he doesn’t need to “introduce” himself to Oyo State.
His voice has been part of people’s daily conversations for years.
His presence has been felt in moments that mattered.
And that familiarity is now turning into something political.
Whether you support him or not, you can’t deny it.
