The Complex Sneaker of the Year panel went down last week and like every year it sparked debate, opinions, and plenty of side-eyes. One thing that’s often missing from the conversation, though, is the “why.” The rationale. After all these are all artifacts and snapshots in time.

Mfrs and live service, how about you make parts of the game offline; what if your servers went offline for a week? I pay full price I expect to play whenever I want. Have only a few hours a week of spare time, miss the old days where I slide in a CD and don’t even need a connection
