@swegen31 I’ve been banging on about this for years now. As far as written stuff goes, there’s a view that having seen the game, people don’t need it dissected again. I think that is blinkered, one of the best parts of AFL coverage in the “golden years” were the match reports and analysis.

I really wish we spent as much time discussing and dissecting the stuff that happens on the field as we do the interesting things that happen off it. I would love a 5000 word analysis of the last 3 mins of the Showdown. We seem to move on from incredible games so quickly.

@HawkTalkPod It’s been said in the wake of our draw against the Pies that we’d win that game 99 / 100 times. Is this something we should be lobbying the AFL for? By my calculations, 99 extra wins against would put us on top of the ladder after 8 rounds with 422 points.
