British media is doing its best to remove @ZackPolanski, easily the most successful and far-reaching politician in the UK, from the political arena. This is the big lie I know intimately from Israel. There is little difference between "left" and "right" elites when it comes to the privilege of kicking a downed, incapacitated man repeatedly in the head.
The point, the shared dream, is to keep "the enemy" (in this case running the gamut from Muslims to the poor) down at all costs. Israel advocates share this with Israelis and Brits alike. The global, anti-democratic right (of which Israel is now a paragon) is all about the establishment of supremacy and impunity. Gaza is where the fight for all humanity - solidarity, dignity, meaning - is carried out. This is what is at stake.

Requires cool, calm heads - and excellent strategy - but the expanded uniparty, and the media, are promoting the Greens to the centre of the national debate.
