in the last 2 days, i’ve sent around 5–6 security reports to CERT-In documenting several security vulnerabilities. on 2 of them, CERT-In replied saying they were “already aware of the issue.” if they were already aware of it… why wasn’t it patched?

@ni5arga @paryahate404 @NCIIPC They are actual shit. I reported them a sqli where I was able to do a login bypass. They literally ghosted me for 3 months and never fixed the vuln, at the end i had to report it to the responsible org via LinkedIn. It was a tribal welfare org.

@paryahate404 @NCIIPC NCIIPC only handles security reports regarding critical infrastructure, I had cc'ed them in my initial report regrading the CBSE vulnerabilities but didn't hear back.

Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking. The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports. This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp. Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users. Such abuse of global Internet routing is alarming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.
