it’s kind of insane that I transitioned in undergrad and then entered the career track by doing an MA and now am entering a JD program while openly trans. all this after transitioning in undergrad very nearly ruined my life

for that first category, it’s extremely important to separate those who transitioned beforehand vs those who transitioned while they were in those positions. i think you’ll find it’s overwhelmingly people who transitioned afterwards and not teen transitioner success stories
