@D2218996 @sub2pewdsONyt @PBSTUK They could be allocated for pick up, being involved with them I have an understanding of how they work. But that's definitely frustrating. I will say staff at Argos are supposed to order like everyone else and they're forced to stick to PP rules as it's flagged up the chain

@sub2pewdsONyt @PBSTUK In Exeter the same thing has been happening, we noticed when a store manager from another store (a friend knows) tells us how much their store is due to get, surprise surprised not even 1/4 of it makes it to the floor, yet a guy at the gym next door is selling it from his car.

@hbdrifta @PBSTUK And then they are back doored, Like in bristol one scalper has deals in place with the vast majority of stores the only one they don't, Smyths, close their queue at 3am as its all gone.

@SecondUser2500 @LavenderGhast If people don't buy sealed and open it. The singles market becomes overly expensive and we're seeing this. Singles are crazy money and shouldn't be. Sure they're technically cheaper, but when chase cards are 800+ and rising months after the set drop, ripping is needed

Two words: buy singles. Buying sealed product is a waste of time, effort, and money. You'll always lose money when opening booster packs or boxes because the expected value is absolutely abysmal for Pokemon selaed product. If you want to open packs because you enjoy the gambling aspect of it, then just go to a casino or something. Getting a hold of Pokemon cards is insanely easy if you just go about it the right way. 99% of cards in new sets are worth under $5 and can easily be found on eBay, TCGPlayer, or Cardmarket.
