We had a special day at Jack Hicks Field on Sat recognizing our 1976 State Championship baseball team. 15 members of the team were in attendance, great stories were told and former 1st round draft pick Mark King threw out a ceremonial 1st pitch! #Tradition #FILD

It was a loser-leave town game. By random draw, Owensboro and Apollo were matched in the first round of the 9th District. Only ONE team would advance to the regionals . . .no second chances . . .these teams knew each other well. 2~
