This is now the second time I have been mobbed and assaulted for filming a protest on U.S. streets. Today these Minneapolis protesters were chanting that they were “ANTIFA” and proved it, by mobbing and beating me for reporting on a public protest:

NEW: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is being investigated for allegations that he hired a Brazilian national as a nanny who doesn’t have work authorization in the U.S.
USCIS has been gathering details, which are now being referred to DHS for criminal investigation.
“Federal law prohibits employers from knowingly hiring aliens who are not authorized to work in the United States. No employer, including a member of Congress, is above the law,” DHS says.

That's a feature, not a flaw.
When the BIG TECH confab happened, the goal was always to use algorithms to reward/control content via $ incentives. That's why Twitter was monetized.
Musk/Ellison (et al) knew if they controlled the $ knob, boosting/diminishing they could control the message and information content. [It's the Google model]
It looks organic because the content creators are chasing $, so the creators modify their positions accordingly. However, this creates an algorithmic illusion of support disconnected from reality.
That was always the plan.

The issue isn’t whether you or I make a bit more or less money, especially since we’d be posting anyway. The real problem is that the platform itself is being shaped by its monetization incentives. If that system rewards cross-posted TikTok clips simply because they are video, as it does now, rather than prioritizing genuine “town square” debate, then it inevitably degrades both the quality and the purpose of the site.
