Hey other Bonnaroo-newbs like me out there, rn the @Bonnaroo guidance about there being signs everywhere isn’t quite right. Perhaps the hail storm earlier took them down but we came in on I-24 W and there weren’t any 🤷‍♂️. Seems like exit 111 is ok and prob 114 was too?

When I was at the school I was telling why my professors insist on clean code. Now, I am developing an application for a friend and my code is super ugly. Sometimes I loss interest to work on it. 😐😐

@bjnovak thanks for The Book With No Pictures! I know it’s ages ago for you, but our kids and friends kids are loving it! I kind of want to borrow the aesthetic for like little gifts for the kids and whatnot. Is there a write up anywhere that you know of listing the typefaces? 🕵️‍♂️

@ProfJohnBowers @airmailer Yeah same. Also, why does the night mode send my emails with actually white text???!!! (Recipients end up with white text on white bg 🤯)

I've been using the new version of @airmailer and it's fine, but I'm so frustrated with this company. I _bought_ a much earlier version of Airmail and it had so many bugs that it was unusable. Now I'm using the free version-it's fine-but every 3rd email prompts a subscribe plz ad

Anger posted a hearty defense of the liberal arts and JMU as both a liberal arts and research institution to my website. Feel much better now. Probably doesn't need to have 3 paragraphs of screen real estate on my front page, but I don't care.

I don’t understand the “this will not matter” talk among the chattering classes. Nobody has a crystal ball. Who knows? But one way of ensuring nothing matters is giving up having values to defend. Cynicism isn’t a sign of depth or savvy, it’s resignation masquerading as politics.
