@kingrvnch @NASCAR I don't mind handing out " bonus points" at certain stages during the course of a race, but IMO, they shouldn't throw a caution flag to stop racing. Racing should continue through the stages, and points awarded. Racing should only be interrupted because of actual cautions.

Proud of what our team showed yesterday. We've been seeing the progress internally for a while now, and it's exciting to see it coming together on track. @JHNemechek led a lot of laps, @Erik_Jones was in the mix all day, and the pit crew was incredible. Excited to see what we can do in San Diego.

I made him earn every victory and stole a few from him along the way. We took our shots at each other, in the media and on the track. But I’d like to think that somewhere deep down there was an appreciation that we pushed each other to perform at the highest level, even if neither of us would’ve admitted it. Tonight, I feel a little like the coyote with no more roadrunner to chase. His loss is all of our loss, but none more so than his family’s. Thinking of Samantha, and Brexton and Lennix who lost their father today.

@DaleStarkA10 @genocsp I drove downtown the mainland in my '60 Chevy Apache with 2 buddies. Had a camper shell. We surfed all over, and crossed back on a ferry to La Paz. Best surf adventure of my life.

At 18 fresh out of high school, I bought a one way ticket to Mexico City with no return date planned. Just surfed all over the mainland. Almost died a couple times. One of the best experiences of my life. If you’re young and unattached just go do what you feel calling you. Die with so many stories your great grandchildren don’t even believe you were a real person.

Remember when the Obama FBI visited CIA chief David Petraeus and let him know they somehow knew he was having an affair? But they also told him don't worry. They said they'd determined he didn't break any laws and they'd keep it quiet. Then, a year later when Petraeus wasn't playing nicely with the Obama folks on the coverup regarding the Islamic terrorist nature of the Benghazi attacks, suddenly Petraeus is "outed" for his affair and forced out of office. The timing is interesting, no? It's almost as if power brokers in govt. collect files or "dirt" on important people, then let the people know the files or "dirt" exists to keep them in line. Then, when and if those folks fall out of line, years old allegations and stories are leaked to the media. And the media, as well as the target's former political allies, who would normally defend the target because of his political status... suddenly all demand resignations or whatnot and destroy the target. It sounds like a movie plot, but we know this sort of thing happens. Thoughts?

@XJ_Country Nice V-rod. I bought mine new in 2009. I've put 80k miles on it since. Been a great machine, never been in the shop for any repairs. I do all of the maintenance and upkeep. Runs better now than when new. I've burned through over 20 sets of tires and a few sets of brake pads.

@hdgeno I almost bought the same bike you have! There was a leftover new one that had been sitting at the Harley dealership for two years. Could have gotten it for $6500 brand new. Instead I bought a 300 mile V-Rod from an independent dealer.

We had some visitors at work today. 🦃

@XJ_Country I had a similar encounter on a ride around the back country. I'm going back before Thanksgiving. :)
