Today is the first day I start my transition away from @Delta and over to @united Here’s why: 🟥 The Delta difference has been shrinking more and more post Covid. 🛰️ United is working to get Starlink on all their planes. High-speed, high-quality bandwidth is one of my #1 needs on a flight. 🛩️ United is also working with Boom, the supersonic aircraft manufacturer. That may be decades away, but at least United has a vision for the future. 📍 Delta doesn’t fly to BRO but United does. When going to Starbase that’s a huge deal! I’m Diamond on Delta for 2024 (actually, double,) and Diamond on Delta for 2025 (not quite double yet.) certainly I’m only one small person and they likely don’t care. But I don’t think I’m the first not the last that will jump ship for Starlink access on a plane. Huge, huge deal! And someone who travels / spends enough to go double diamond just in MQD’s… well that’s a lot of money in just me they lost. I still have some future Delta travel I’ll likely keep in place through early 2025. But then almost all United from there. Now to try and get my status on United up. Basically working from scratch 😬 On that note, LOS BRO
