@MichaelVaughan Too much grass, yes. This time. But this is not an outlier, Michael. You are giving a free pass to incompetence & extremely poor technique from both team's batsmen. Incapable of 'not scoring'. It's an indictment on what Test cricket should be. And you guys should call it out.

Heartbreak for Nathan Lyon. Would think Corey Rocchiccioli might be the likeliest to replace him? Considering the selectors have gone with the most prolific opener, Weatherald, & fast bowler, Doggett, so far this summer #Ashes

I had tears streaming down my face three seconds into this clip. A surreal commitment to the art, to be able to not imitate, but emulate, such a distinct voice with the rawness and sincerity that Jeremy Allen White does here. Chills.

@RonnyLerner It’s last possession not last touch. And clearly they’re not capable.

The "it might as well be last touch" argument we keep hearing re insufficient intent is rubbish. Do these people actually think that a great spoil from behind that goes out of bounds should be a free? Spare me. Umps are quite capable of making case-by-case calls #AFLTigersCrows

@N_Watson_ It’s arguable that the ball was stuck-it moved a lot and the batter tried to grab it before it fell out. For me, the batter has interfered. If he had remained still, waited for the umpire to call dead ball, then removed it he would’ve been fine. IMHO he should’ve been out.

It's probably a good thing that the ball becomes dead when it gets stuck in the pad, saves getting out handled ball for being silly and removing it from your pad with your hand.

@PfitznerMiles At which round did I steal a vote off Jimmy Allan? Don’t say the last Rd, cause having 47 and picking deserves 3 votes in my book 🖕

No I don’t. Words are a wonderful thing, problem for him is they normally come back to bite him when he lies. Same as most politicians, they are spin doctors. Never answers the tough questions with a straight answer and never puts his hand up and says I got that wrong.

@t3tragrammat0n @AlexiLuncnews @liz_churchill10 You’re actually arguing the case for us. You’re admitting that where there’s correlation research is done to establish if there’s causation too. Which in the cases you’ve listed happens to be the case. The same can’t be argued for vaccines and cancer or vaccines and autism etc.

@AlexiLuncnews @liz_churchill10 So no, “correlation isn’t causation” doesn’t make you sound insightful. It makes you sound like someone who would’ve told scientists to ignore the data—while people kept dying.🙄😬🖕

@KirkHebs10 @bowlologist Yeah that’s the only discussion point though. And I’m ok with the decision too. Seen a few people talk about the control bit which I don’t understand as not relevant.

@healsdj @bowlologist I’m comfortable it hit the ground Heals, that’s why it’s not out for me. Hit the ground when not in control, hence not out. If you don’t think it hit the ground, that’s a different discussion, then of course would be out imo.

@bowlologist Smith never has full control (otherwise he would have caught it), and ball touches the ground… no out! If Smith had control and caught it, then out!
