The Australian electoral system is broken. How can OneNation be second in the overall SA vote and get no seats in the lower house. It is interesting that the combined coalition / OneNation vote exceeded Labor. So well done for not preferencing each other!!

@hasumpstuffedup @BeltwayAussie That depends on whose colours you were wearing. Amongst all the 50/50 calls that went against Adelaide, the most costly, game deciding call was the one on Keays when Pedlar scored. It was patently wrong-and don’t justify it with the below the knees rule!

@hasumpstuffedup @FOXFOOTY This is such a poor decision. Peatling focuses on the ball, while Frejia tries to toe poke it. Peatling got there first, so the free kick really should’ve been his for kicking in danger.

@hasumpstuffedup How you can say that’s a good decision is everything that is wrong with the game today. At no stage were his legs taken!

Has the umpire made A Bad decision?
I appreciate that many people dislike it, but this is absolutely the correct decision. If a player goes off their feet and makes contact below the knees with another player competing on their feet, then the FK will be paid against them. Really good decision #AFLCrowsDogs

@KP24 @_pitch__perfect I think you should have been focussed on getting back inside your crease instead of trying to be all noble and hitting the ball to the keeper.

@_pitch__perfect I don’t think Boom Boom would have let Akmal get away with that. Us old timers played hard but fair(most of the time). 🤣

@RalphyHeraldSun Why should he get off Ralphy? If he’s infringed-and the MRO has said he did-then he should cop his whack like every other player. What if it was a first gamer? Would you be arguing so hard?

The clause that could see Pendles argue down a career-first suspension. A character reference from Malcolm Turnbull or Waleed Aly doesn’t help as it did for Bachar Houli but a good record DOES allow the tribunal to reduce an MRO suspension under their total discretion

Scott Pendlebury is facing a career-first suspension for a high hit on Worrell. But the plot twist? The AFL’s good bloke rule is still alive. Can he plead exceptional circumstances for a discount at the tribunal? The details 👇 codesports.com.au/afl/afl-champi…

Saturday 21st March. Election day in SA. Also national Harmony Day and UN International day for the elimination of racial discrimination. Let’s hope South Australians cast their vote with this in mind……

Patrick Cripps turns 31 in four days. If he retires without winning a flag, I’ll never forgive this club for wasting a Hall of Fame worthy career.

@DanielCherny This innings simply reinforces the fact that he is in the twilight zone as a batter. Too good for shield cricket but not good enough at international level. No point making runs in a dead rubber with 6 months until the next test match!

@abcsport The rule that allows this is farcical. Players should only be allowed to switch allegiances if a birth parent was born overseas. Going back to grandparents makes a mockery of everything Australia has done for him. Make no mistake this is all about money

How good from @SACricketTeams to make a second straight #SheffieldShield final. Ryan Harris was adamant when South Australia ended their drought last year that he wanted to create a legacy & here they are with a chance to defend their Shield & go back-to/back for the first time

@football360au Players should only be able to switch allegiances if their birth parents were born overseas. In this instance it’s a grandparent and that just makes a mockery of the game. Australia has developed him, and provided a life for him. Allowing him to abandon his country is a disgrace.

Adrian Segecic has explained his decision to change his international allegiance from Australia to Croatia 🇦🇺🇭🇷🗣️ It has also been revealed that he WON'T be linking up with their senior national team in the March window, instead being called up by the nation's Under-21 side. @triplemfooty @cleary_mitch There cannot possibly be a good bloke rule. It makes a mockery of the game. If it’s graded as a suspension then he gets games, simple. What if it was a bloke in debut? Does he get leninacy because it’s his first game? Next thing we will have can’t get out 1st ball in cricket!!

The Vic/Collingwood centric media downplaying the Crows win last night is pathetic. They beat a preliminary finalist from 2025 at the G for the first time in 12 years & were very good-how about we focus on that instead of fawning over Collingwood & blaming umpiring decisions 🤦‍♂️

@LukeJBrigden @DanielCherny Averaging 34 is a season for an opening bat who continues to be on the national radar is sub-standard. Should be averaging over 40. In at least one of that run of innings, he should’ve gone on with it and didn’t.

@philschultz11 @DanielCherny What are you on about, he’s the 3rd top run scorer for the season. For an opening batter aged 20, averaging 34 in a season on our decks is decent.
