@JamesFox917 @michaelsobrien Stop - high level public schools recruit. There are 5 public and 1 private HS that kids in AH can attend based on the boundaries but that doesn’t stop kids going to the top two premier football power houses. Parents move or use relatives addresses.

@michaelsobrien The one major difference is that the schools in Glen Ellyn, St. Charles and AH don’t get to hand pick the best players from rival towns.

The divide in high school football is economic, not private or public. Look closely at the Super 25 teams Glen Ellyn, St. Charles and Arlington Heights have more in common with Mount Carmel and Nazareth than with public schools in Waukegan and Chicago Heights or on the West Side

@ALionEye This program is so difficult to be a fan of - we’ve wished for a 7/8 win program. We are talented but too many games this year we haven’t shown up and have looked out coached. Really disappointed.

For me, this game is more frustrating than Washington. Washington made play after play and we couldn't stop them. This is mistake after mistake. Hard to watch.

@wischlist Another game where the Illini look unprepared. It’s hard - we don’t have a history of winning more than 7 games a season. Next week isn’t a gimme. All phases have struggled tonight. Just disappointing.
