@illjoy_ yeah the show’s week to week plots make so much sense when considering Kripke’s work on Supernatural, you can feel him desperately wanting to do cw 22 episode season bullshit every week than immediately progress the plot

Kripke clearly likes doing the monster-of-the-week type stuff on the Boys but is limited to 8 episodes of plot-focused stuff because he’s working for a streamer. I think the show would be so much fun if it was just the boys going on a new mission every week

Fun Fact: This entire scene was improvised Song Kang-ho wanted to break the fourth wall like Deadpool and didn't inform the director. Bong Joon Ho was so enraged he cut the scene early and fired him, forcing the film to end before the killer was revealed
