Capital Summit HK @consensus_hk — RWA: who wins the stack If RWAs scale, the battle isn’t “RWA or not”—it’s where value accrues across: issuance → custody → distribution → secondary markets Takeaways from the room: Distribution + compliance rails determine who gets flow Custody + settlement are becoming product surfaces, not back-office Secondary liquidity is the unlock: without it, RWAs stay pilots Speakers: HashKey Tokenisation (Andy Lee) @apwlxyz, Digital Asset/Canton (Beatriz Callaghan) @CantonGirl1, Amber Premium (Jelena Zhang), Flow Traders (Hein Tibosch) @Heintsight, Cointelegraph (Bradley Peak) @HashKeyGroup @CantonNetwork @ambergroup_io @FlowTraders @Cointelegraph

What’s the real benefit of tokenization? Different views at our panel with @21Shares, @tradeon21x and @KemarTiti, from faster settlements to unlocking access to illiquid assets. Is it the future of finance or just another buzz word? Kudos @heintsight for the insightful panel!

Bitcoin officially proved itself as reserve currency. Or was it just Strategy buying another 2BN this week?

@FelixOHartmann Although without Saylor btc would be few pct down. Don’t confuse btc with any other coin, btc will keep on seeing larger adoption as an asset class, although road ahead might have some bumps @FelixOHartmann

I was about to tweet, ‘in before Saylor announces he blew his entire convertible raise at last week’s high.’ This isn’t strategy—it’s desperation. He’s doing everything he can to force BTC into a bull trend. Hint: Most of crypto entered a bear market this month. Bitcoin would too if not for Saylor. While he’s unlikely to ‘blow up’ due to note structuring, if MSTR trades below NAV and maturities on underwater bonds approach, an overhang builds. Buyers will hesitate when they expect tens of billions in forced selling over the coming years. I expect the next few months to be ugly on the charts. Momentum is gone, the Trump trade is behind us, and real regulatory clarity is still far off. The next real catalyst? Likely 6-12 months away—stablecoin regulation, the biggest driver of on-chain transactions ahead.
Michael Saylor@saylor

@Cointelegraph Long story short: all the FUD around how much of etf flow is speculative/hedging vs genuine inflow is massively overrated

🚨 NEW: Only 44% of US Bitcoin ETF buying has been for long-term holding, while the rest majority is likely tied to arbitrage strategies according to 10x Research. 10x Research’s Markus Thielen said that it means that the actual demand for Bitcoin as a long-term asset in multi-asset portfolios is significantly smaller than the media portrays.

@loomdart People tend to overindex short term action vs long term trends. Sure MSTR has been stronger, but only a small catalyst will move btc up -> inflows in ETFs -> mstr strength

adding to this that MSTR's total buying may seem like alot and it accelerated us a decent chunk but it is in no way the *only* reason we went up and any thesis involving it being the only reason we went up that may pop up if we trade lower is bs and probably a good time to start bidding

think this weakness will continue for foreseeable future, not bad enough to giga nuke because btc has some insane strength generally, lil bad boy is truly evolving into a spx esque assett its beautiful to see, but kinda caps us on topside and is slowly adding more and more fear / uncertainty into the market rly not sure how it ends, will try explain better on stream if i can find a spare few hours probs next week
loomdart@loomdart

saylor pushed us up here, but mstr's IV keeps dropping (they need this high to keep raising thru note sales) , no huge issuances coming in, people a bit sweaty over that, but not maximally so (its not panic, more fear) so no real reason to go big sell, but no real reason to go big buy BSR stuff came in, and a few people reduced their risk profiles because a big exciting event that was incoming occured, and so the upside of a surprise BSR was gone, trenches wise well $trump kinda rawdogged the trenches and left few survivors think of it as like the big leverage longers scared to yolo molo and so panicing out ,then it goes low enough to kill the rest trading isnt about up or down, its about likelihood of either, and think last few weeks people became more risk averse, think of it as like just rebalancing their portfolio just natural market chop, this asset does 20% either way p easily and people assign that to cycles coz they love to sound smart and be the sexy guy who called the cycle, but its more just small moves within a larger market, like even if mstr cant raise anymore or wtver, its no gonna kill anything, we are still supercycling, but just people rebalancing can cause us to move a chunk

Here's data showing that the spot bitcoin ETFs and $MSTR to a lesser extent are basically solely responsible for btc's move out of the $30k post-SBF doghouse. I've theorized this in past, ppl got testy, but data shows its true.. via @HODL15Capital

Many misconceptions exist about the bitcoin carry trade's size and how it affects spot ETF AuM and flows. Our latest article shows that basis arbitrage accounts for just 16.7% of ETF AuM and serves as a channel for genuine demand for bitcoin exposure. @Cointelegraph This statement just massively increased odds of an actual BTC reserve. Europe is so divided, that some countries will go straight against this

Is there something more behind a buzz word? "You often hear people mention the crypto buzz words, everyone is talking about bitcoins, tokens and more. For us these words have a real meaning and they motivate us to always remain an active player in the space. All the innovations, as well as the enhanced efficiency impact the crypto space which will change the financial markets over time." @heintsight Want to know more? check out this podcast with @bitvavocom LINK: bnr.nl/podcast/crypto…

@zoomerfied Could the reason they are buying Sol instead of BTC be, that the strategic reserve is revealed tomorrow? So they don’t want to get scrutinized

@arkham A possible sale could accelerate plans for a strategic reserve, as a way of payback to the Dems. Curious whether they would really do this, very little upside IMO
