You only fight when the fight is fair. If it ain’t fair - you fuck off from there. Sometimes- it’s just about survival. People ask - why do people tolerate toxicity in residency. They can complain, resign etc etc. Actually they can’t . It’s an extraordinarily unfair fight. When you join residency - in many if not all states - you can’t resign without paying a huge bond (upto 1 crore)! You’re also banned from counseling for 3 years. You can’t complain - whom will you? - to HOD? You think that same HOD doesn’t know about what’s happening in the department. The faculty will ensure you fail in MD exit if you talk/rebel. Or will not sign your thesis. Half the suicides - the trigger is almost always pressure over a random thesis(which should be banned imo in India) It’s worse in surgical branches- they won’t give you a chances/any cutting. It’s an unfair fight. And people - just - they just survive. It’s 1 year. Maximum 2. They keep the head down - tolerate the humiliation and just leave after taking the damn degree.

The bully keeps bullying you if you are a coward. If you fight back, the bully runs away. The world respects strength. A sign of strength is unwillingness to compromise to one's ideals.

Unbelievable opening from RR, and from both batters. 55 with six sixes in 15 balls. And one of those overs was from Bumrah!

Imagine thinking of a complex and extremely ambitious 3 stage self-sustained nuclear program in India of 1950s, losing your life for it, and still not getting Bharat Ratna for your services even after decades while many Govts of all the ideologies came & went. Buddh ka Desh. 🤘

India is surviving because its middle class decides to send their kids to colleges where they experience a hostel life. In that hostel life, the dehat is deleted upto a large extent from the minds of these kids. They mingle with different castes & ethnicities, form friendships & romantic relationships, learn to navigate through difficulties of life, learn about different cultures, their food & traditions, deal with breakups & failures. In these hostels, they even attend their sick friends like a family. They taste their freedom with that first cigarette or a beer. They learn to complete assignments on last moment and hold their nerves even when they are not ready for exams. They prepare themselves for jobs & pull out their families from low income traps. Some embark on journeys to study abroad & see the world. These kids in engineering, medical, business etc colleges are the only chance for India to grow big & bring prosperity to most of its populace. The investment made here is not just on education. This is nation-building even when you cannot see it directly. The noise & burden of your birth identity vanishes here and then you hear your inner voice, the voice then grows into a call.

Watched #Dhurandhar2‌TheRevenge. Calling it propaganda, doesn’t do justice to this movie. It is a sophisticated psy-op. Aditya Dhar includes sequences(demonetization) that are openly aligned with BJP. Dhurandhar uses Modi as a bait. The usual suspects couldn’t resist the bait , and jumped to dismisss it as lazy propaganda - as expected. They sensed “victory” and amplified it, as expected. That’s how they were sucked into the chakravyuh. Then the phase 2 started. It leverages 2 psychological phenomena 1. Cunningham’s law 2. Generation effect Cunningham’s law - the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question, but to post a wrong answer. This is because people aren’t motivated to search for truth, but they love to correct other people’s mistakes. People tend to remember what they unearth, better than what is fed to them. This is called Generation Effect (as the conclusion is “generated” from their own mind). The viewers think “wait, is that real ? Let me search about it”. They ask “why are the critics only talking about what he said about Modi /DeMo ? What about the ruling government of the time ?” That’s the chakravyuh pulling them in harder. Deep within this chakravyuh (or rabbit hole if you will) is the kill -shot : Congress era NatSec debacles. Gen Z which has the attention span of a gold fish gets hooked by a 3+ hour long bait. They then seek to debunk it for the thrill of proving something wrong. They set off on a truth-seeking adventure, they find Congress era rage fuel instead. They are shocked. Sadly for the INDI folks, Dhurandhar might ideologically salt the young minds. Dhurandhar didn’t seek to feed lies. It tricked people into searching for truth. It’s the ultimate anti-propaganda.
