People lock themselves in a room, ignore the text from a real friend asking to hang out, and then open a chat window to complain to an AI that they feel lonely. The solution isn’t building a better chatbox to keep them company. It’s using AI to help them gather the courage to open the actual door and look at the people right in front of them.

Loneliness. Not by replacing human connection, but by helping people survive when human connection isn’t available. Companionship, continuity, emotional steadiness, and support for people who are isolated, disabled, grieving, or just trying to get through the night. Fewer people should have to feel completely alone.

Watched Dr. Stacy Sims on the Liz Moody podcast & realized I’ve been paying for a fitness tracker for years that runs on male baseline data 🫠 When our HRV drops or temp spikes naturally during our cycle, the app tells us we're "in crisis." We aren't dying, we're just women. The gender data gap in health tech is so frustrating.

my favourite part of working on the postcard app is working with my husband. my least favourite part is also working with my husband. one minute we are celebrating a feature working and the next we are arguing over a button placement.

Why is my morning routine structured the way it is? I wake up between 4:30–5 a.m. every day (including weekends) First thing I do is sip a glass of water for 10-15 minutes. This allows me to wake up slowly. To savor the first touch of water. To set the day's rhythm (which is to avoid feeling rushed) Then I meditate for 30 minutes. This is to listen to my thoughts, not to control them. So, before I listen to or attend to anyone, I attend to myself. Haven't missed a day for 6 years now! Then I read for 30 mins. This is to feed my mind the right diet.  So, before garbage enters my mind (through mindless scrolling or emails or messages), I nourish it. Then I get my kids ready for school (30 mins) This reminds me of the most precious role I play in my life :) Then I play tennis for an hour This is to wake up my body. Get it moving. Taste the sweat. Then I lift weights at the gym for an hour This is to strengthen the body, build muscles, so that it can age well and hopefully provide me good company as I age. Then I come back and read the newspaper for 15 minutes. This is my first connection with the world, after waking up. But I am reading the news that I chose to read. To the extent I chose to read. I won't be dragged into a mindless debate, and I'm not being offered any breaking news. Then I do epic s**t :)) and shower. And then I sit down to work, around 9:30 a.m. By this time I have given myself 4-5 years of a ritual that has cleansed and nourished my mind, soul, and body. Ready to face what the world offers. This routine works for me. It will not work for you. But a routine will surely work for you. Build yours today!

remember the feeling of writing and receiving a handwritten letter? we wanted to bring that quiet, nostalgic connection back to our digital spaces. so,@mhrnik and I built Hey Postcard @heypostcard no algorithms, no public feeds. just hand drawn ink art sent straight to someone you care about. the app is nearly done. here is a little teaser of the vibe🖤

don't try to perfect your product. i made the same mistake many times in the last 10 years! see this output from @outrank_so & it's making $300k+ mrr i personally would’ve been 'too embarrassed' to launch it. thanks @tibo_maker :) to remind me again that ship first and polish later.

@tibo_maker Imagine being a legendary 19th-century painter just to have tech twitter in 2026 call your brushstrokes 'uninspired AI slop.' Monet is probably turning in his grave laughing at us 😭

Google I/O is out here promising the future of AI agents and cloud compute. Meanwhile, I'm building a native iOS app designed to do one single thing: send a digital postcard to a friend 💌 In a world of infinite wrappers, be a native app :) p.s. not hating wrappers, built a few myself in past!

git is basically: “do this” “not like that” “permission denied” “authentication failed” “who even are you?” anyway, here’s a sassy cat guide for surviving your first bitbucket push 🐾

my husband lost his biggest client last month. I spent the last 6 years bouncing between art, NFTs, content creation and coding. I made money, but I quit every time the "business" side got annoying. I thought I had a safety net and infinite time. I was wrong on both counts. I’m a PHP dev, but I’m using Cursor to brute-force my way through SwiftUI and building a digital postcard app because I need to ship something that makes sense.

Let me give you a little sneak peek on the postcard app design. I used chatgpt and gemini to generate these illustration ideas. I use Freeform on macbook to layout these designs so I can easily visualise things. I can say I am doing pretty good :)
