helium just got experimental vertical tabs! now you can choose between three browser layouts: classic, compact, and vertical :) helium.computer

still can't decide on the best keyboard shortcut for toggling the sidebar, but we will come up with the best solution for this over next few updates

and with today's update, you can now position vertical tabs on the right side! we also made a few improvements based on your feedback, including saving the sidebar width and collapse preferences across sessions

in a recent helium update, we added browser component updates to helium services while this is a somewhat minor change, @schlizzawg decided to create a system for precise and continuous consent, which disables new functionality until the user acknowledges it. it's really cool :3

made helium even skinnier as an experiment, this layout is a little buggy but feels surprisingly good

been using helium for a few weeks and it not being bloated + shebangs have sped up my work so much ty @uwukko and ty @theo for using shebangs passing by when i was half asleep on your couch one year ago and you were showing me stuff on yt and making me passively absorb their power
