I'm absolutely miserable right now. This is the worst pain I've experienced in years. Debilitating. Exhausting. Brutal. Zero relief.
ER couldn't do shit. No local dentists are within my insurance network. None of the meds I have are working. None of the suggested remedies are working. Just thick, sharp, throbbing pain all the way to eleven all through my jaw and right side of my head.
Please - no more suggestions. I've tried them all and am probably over the max for ibuprophen and Tylenol at this point. Nothing works. Not clove oil, not vanilla extract, not nyquil, not ice, not even prayer.
And yet I'm proud of myself. A few weeks ago I would have hit the liquor store and shut this shit down immediately. It would work. It always did.
But I refuse. Because everything has changed and I've made a commitment.
This is my reward, I guess.
