Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.
Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan."
This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.
The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

It sure is. And it’s been addressed over and over again for nearly two years. This happened 14 years ago.
I was NOT convicted. My (now) ex-husband, who was a cop, was desperately trying to take my children away so he could s*xually abuse my daughter. He weaponized the “justice system” against me. But I fought for my kids - and in the end, I WON. I won full custody. And then I sent HIM to prison for what he did.
But you didn’t bother to research any of that, did you? You just thought you had a perfect “gotcha” moment.
So thank you for sharing my story. It gives me another opportunity to stand up for abused women and make it clear why I fight so hard to protect children—from predators and from people like you who jump to conclusions and then embarrass themselves.
I am a survivor. That’s what makes my pregnancy photo even more powerful.
I know the truth—and it doesn’t care about your opinion.
