PM Modi's speech yesterday and today, on the surface, indicates intel suggesting some serious escalation and long drawn war. And combined with signals coming from the Middle East - especially Kuwait, Saudi, and even Bahrain, everyone seems to be ready for the kill in Iran. Let's also not forget the thousands of marines of the US being rushed to Iran now. But my view is that all these are being orchestrated by the US to pressure Iran to sit down for talks or accept their temporary proposals. If Iran does accept to the proposals or agree to sit for talks by April, we must see this conflict end this week itself. If not, I am sure the US will use force. Including boots on the ground to try take some islands or secure coastal areas along Strait of Hormuz. People who believe the US will never do this are getting it wrong. But knowing Trump, I will say first he will try to end this without a fight by creating a credible threat of invasion for Iran. And PM's speech, and similar messages coming out of western capitals, and middle east countries are all conveying this credible threat to Iran. That's what the US is doing now and it's probably feeding such intel to many (including India) to show Iran that it's seriously thinking of invading along with other powers around ME and causing an escalation lasting months. This is something many in the regime know they may not survive. And would want to end it now. Trump's trying to use them.

If Iran’s dumb excuse for attacking the Arabs is that they allow their air space to be used by Israeli/American jets then that is LAME. This is why: 1- Aren’t the Arabs allowing Iran their airspace for Iranian missiles for well over a year now? Did the Arabs ever attack Iran for repeatedly violating their airspace? Note that Iranian missiles violated Arab air space to attack Israel before Israeli jets ever did! 2- What the heck are the Iranians expecting the Arabs to do? Shoot US and Israeli jets down? Really?
