God doesn’t have a physical body. He is Spirit. He doesn’t have tattoos. While it’s not a sin to have one, citing Isaiah 49:16 and the phrase “engraved thee” (KJV) misunderstands the text. The Hebrew word used there is ḥaqqōṯîḵ, which means to carve or to cut in. The point is that God will not forget us. It is figurative language used to communicate truth, not a literal statement about God having tattoos. God doesn’t have tattoos. SMH. I pray for him, though.
