I thing there’s a few things. They were really more of a 7-8 quality win team last year who got a bunch of lucky breaks to get to 11 wins. Happens every year to a team or two, going up in wins (lucky) or down in wins (unlucky). So starting from the standpoint of they were really a 7-8 win quality team, even if their offense takes a step forward that makes them a 9-10 win quality team, without the luck they had last year.

Many today are predicting a regression for the Chicago Bears this year based on the schedule difficulty. That's assuming offensive stagnation - and the Bears are banking on being the top offense in football under Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. #DaBears

The Lions are almost guarenteed to host the Packers week 18. Can’t imagine the NFL would give them 3 of their last 4 games all on the road against divisional opponents

There are those (see @MikeTanier) who believe a major regression is coming for the Packers. So on today's show, I take a closer look into how the Packers' roster stacks up against 2025 & discuss if a storm is coming, or if GB is primed for an epic season! youtube.com/watch?v=z20Vyg…

This is incredible. These two said a joke about Charlie Kirk in Kevin Hart’s roast was inappropriate, then seconds later got triggered when Piers read out a statement from George Floyd’s family objecting to a joke made during the roast. "Why do we care what George Floyd’s family says?"

@Section344Lions We said the same thing last year though with their schedule. I’d rather have them get off to a bad start than have the whole year to prepare for a tough stretch.

Gauntlet close for the Bears. And the first half of the schedule is filled with red every other week. No complaints this year about the Chicago schedule. If they win 10+ and make the playoffs it will have been a great year.

thoughts on the Bears 2026 schedule? 7 primetime/standalone games the Bears have arrived and the NFL is clearly banking on them taking another step forward in 2026

@Peter_Bukowski but ending the season at Chicago then at Green Bay would scare me if I were a Lions fan given Goff's struggles in the past in cold weather

Lions 2026 Schedule close things out by playing all 3 division foes on the road: at MIN week 15 at CHI week 17 at GB week 18 very manageable start to the season except for a short-week road game in Buffalo TNF Week 2

@BruceIronsNFL Some people think the Packers have an elite coach/offensive genius, MVP caliber QB, the best WR group in the league, yet they can’t even win their division, have one playoff win in 5 years, and haven’t finished higher than 8th in scoring since 2020.

Who's better: Jared Goff or Caleb Williams? 🤔 @Chris_Broussard: "Give me Caleb. I don't even think it's a question." @getnickwright: "One guy has an ability to be a super hero. The other guy is an awesome civilian."

Jalen Duren regular-season PPG: 19.5 Jalen Duren playoff PPG: 10.1 9.4 PPG falloff The only All-Star in NBA history to have a larger falloff (min 10 GP) is Wilt Chamberlain in 1962, who went from 50.4 PPG to 35.0 in the playoffs. Wilt was 2nd in playoff scoring that year. Duren is 79th this season.
