Well Folks EIGHT days for an ABH & public order charge I have to say is absolutely ‘unprecedented’ in my experience; If the jury cannot give a Majority verdict one way or other the Judge will call it a day & record it as a Hung Jury for 2nd Time! The CPS then decide for 3rd Trial or to throw in the towel & call it a day!!👇🤷‍♂️
Norman Brennan@NormanBrennan

Well Folks the Jury in this👇 matter will Deliberate for an EIGHTH day; it is exceptionally Unusual for a Jury to deliberate for such a period for an ABH; there will be a finding of Guilty; NG Or another Hung Jury where the jury just cannot come up with a Majority verdict of 10-2

@Col45398669 The steering wheel on my (new to me) used approved BMW was noticeably a few degrees off straight. Alignment had allegedly been done but I insisted on a check. It took 5hrs and 2 dealerships to solve. Result though is the tyres are now scrubbing unevenly 😕

I’m so pissed off with BMW Wilmslow, booked in at 11:00 for a 4 wheel alignment they should have done when they completed warranty work 3 weeks ago. It should take 30 minutes but over 2 hours later I’m still here waiting. I’m Not using them again.

This is the shot you can’t get from the press site. This camera was sitting a few football fields from the SLS rocket at Pad 39B for days before launch, baking in the Florida sun, surviving rain, humidity, and whatever else the Cape threw at it. No photographer behind the viewfinder. Just a camera, a sound trigger, and a bet. The way pad remotes work: you set your camera up days in advance, dial in your composition, lock everything down, and walk away. You don’t touch it again until after the launch. The shutter fires on sound activation with a @MiopsTrigger smart+ trigger. With SLS, the four RS-25 engines ignite six seconds before the solid rocket boosters, so the camera is already firing before the vehicle even leaves the pad. You get home, pull the card, and find out if you nailed it or if a bird landed on your lens two days ago and left your a present and you got 400 photos of soemthing crappy. There’s no formula for protecting your gear this close. Some photographers build wooden boxes with doors that pop open. Some use plastic bags and tape. Some do plastic or metal barn door rigs on hinges. I tend to leave mine open just in plastic rain covers because boxes limit my composition and setup time, but that means your cameras are more exposed to the elements and whatever energy and debris comes off the pad. You’re basically gambling a camera body every time you set one. That’s what I love about this genre. There’s no playbook. You make it up as you go. Every time is an adventure. 📸 credit: me for @SuperclusterHQ - Artemis II pad remote | ~1,000 ft from Pad 39B | Kennedy Space Center

@WomackPhilip My 89 yr old dad struggles to walk. He can't use a computer. I have the GP online app for him. But he won't reveal some symptoms (it's private). Appointment triage is to now fill in a form, IN PERSON at the surgery! They don't service telephone requests anymore. Hopeless.

On a train heading out of London for a trip to England. Thought I’d show you the architectural dross that is Nine Elms. Possibly the most poorly designed, most devoid of character, devoid of personality area in London. If you can bear to watch to the end, there is a glimpse of an architectural masterpiece amongst it all though.

Before and after. A few minutes ago, I looked old and homeless and now, after a visit to Chris’s the barber in Chiswick, I could pass for 17 (if I’d just stepped off a dinghy and the UK Home Office were assessing my age).

Hannah Spencer MP managed to get Muslims into her maiden speech. But no other persecuted faiths. I also don’t recall her once raising the plight of women in Afghanistan or those murdered by the Iranian regime in the past. And no Ukraine in the speech.

We’re really sorry about this, Mike. Train doors can close up to a minute before departure for safety reasons, which can make tight connections tricky. In the future, if you’re running late due to a delayed train, it’s a good idea to contact the operator of the delayed service to see if they can request the next train to be held, while it’s not always possible, it’s definitely worth asking as sometimes they can help.

WCML from Penrith to Carlisle were disrupted this afternoon (Not @northernassist issue I know). But when you get to Carlisle at 17:04, run to the 17:06 Northern train to Whitehaven, get to it as it turns 17:05, and they shut the doors and leave a minute early. Slightly annoying.

In 2021, after 6 years of shopping at my local Sainsbury’s and tracking where I parked each time on a spreadsheet, I completed all 211 parking spots the store had to offer. In 2024 I moved to a new town - and guess what I’ve been busy doing since :) A thread 🧵

@WRCPAST Manual windows, but a 4 spoke steering wheel and a quartz clock. Metallic paint, glass sunroof, smoked rear lenses and with GLS wheel trims, this one defies a lowly base run-out spec before the Mondeo arrived

**Rare Road Cars** 1991 Ford Sierra Sapphire 1.8L CVH Classic Edition. Don’t know the numbers but would be very rare. Words by owner Alan Richardson 👏🏻👏🏻 The classic edition was basic spec very similar to the L models….. the keen eye will notice the wheel trims are GLS spec as original wheel covers are just as hard to source these days, but I do actually love the trims, still has lots of originality like the radio etc, and even it’s original 35 year old tax disc holder , still on original pierburg auto choke carb as well …love the basic model as so much easier to work on. What a stunning example in unbelievable condition. Got to love a basic spec even with the additions. 👏🏻👏🏻 📷 Alan Richardson 👏🏻👏🏻 @Ford @forduk
