After 41yrs & 6mths I’ve retired from nursing. Started as a SEN in Belfast City Hospital and finished as a Macmillan CNS palliative care. Fabulous career proud to work in palliative care @NHSCTrust Emotional week but taking memories and lots of friends into my new chapter 😊

@saraelaine1 @dobbin1977 It does baffle me how ppl are happy to leave their family in ed as they're not coping. Ed is not coping either. We need to shift the mindset and sort the social issues in the community to stop this. This is not patient centered for any patient.

I don’t blame GPs. Lower acuity patients are not incapacitating EDs and causing harm. Crowding with sick frail elderly due to Lack of inpatient capacity is - looking at solutions to solve medically fit blocking acute hospital beds is a large part of the solution

Love ECR but increasingly slowed in finding the best letters amoung often >100 documents for a patient with any long-term conditions. Wouldn't it be nice to develop a way to upvote helpful information akin to Reddit? #EncompassNI #EPIC
