@GaryRWard If we don’t stay in the league we won’t have 3/4 of these players and tbh I don’t want most anyway.
I want Poch as much as anyone but if he don’t want to come now then our survival is more important
English

I want stability and a long-term appointment that focuses on developing and growing the club.
We can't keep hiring managers with completely different styles of football that don't fit our players.
Investing partially in what they need, only to sack them and hire another manager with a different approach.
If that doesn't matter to you as much, then that's fair. I just can't keep going through this every 18 months.
English

It'll end as it did at Brighton & Marseille, & just like with Antonio Conte, a fallout with the board & ownership.
I
If this happens, then i give it a year max before we are back to where we are now.
At least Vinai, Lange, & The Lewis Family are consistent: they consistently make the wrong choices for this football club.

A lot of no's for a Ryan Mason third interim spell.
If it's not Roberto De Zerbi or Robbie Keane now permanently, then it might have be a coach & former Tottenham "legend" to save us.

@jonhotspur1988 He left his man not just in the area but also in the middle of field at the start of the move. Literally all his fault
English

@hengy Sarr runs near post to cover I.Jesus, yes it’s poor that he leaves Gibbs-White unmarked on the penalty spot but why is a midfielder having to choose which of the multiple unmarked players he picks up? While the centre half is jogging back like an old man running for the bus.
English

@GaryRWard Honestly our management are clueless if they think this is a good idea

Telegraph Sport claim Tottenham have already held talks with Italian Roberto De Zerbi to take over next season, if they stay in the Premier League, but ex-Juventus boss Igor Tudor could be sacked imminently.

Roberto De Zerbi is open to the permanent Tottenham job if the club stay in the Premier League. Spurs in final stages of sporting director hunt. Sources in Germany believe Sebastian Kehl is in the frame. As per Matt Law #THFC #COYS #SPURS #TOTTENHAM

@georgeachillea I’m basically the same as you but with Xavi & tel behind Solanke. Richy is to important for our league games to risk him for these
English

This is the lineup I’d PERSONALLY go for vs Atletico Madrid to try and create the best balance from the players we have available…
(1) As much as we lose a bit of creativity without Xavi, I think for the away leg it’s best to go with more physically capable players and play him in the home leg where he’ll have a lot more time on the ball to show what he can do like he has done in other home UCL fixtures.
Souza isn’t registered and I think it’s SO important to have a left footer there so VDV should play LB.
If you look at their average position in their win vs Brugge, their players clunk up out wide and leave a sizeable gap in the middle, so going for 3 in midfield could be the key.
I’m also sick of seeing Vicario in the starting XI. Playing him ahead of Kinsky was fair enough originally as usually his shot stopping is much better, but he’s not even doing that well now so I’d rather have the keeper who is far far more secure in possession and can launch quick counter attacks
(2) Out Of Possession: I think it should become a tight 4-4-2 to condense the pitch as much as possible. I just personally feel the recent 5-3-2 under Tudor makes it more difficult for us to counter attack and leaves us a bit open in midfield at times
(3) In possession I think it could be one of two things, the first is when VDV joins attacks on the left side as we know he likes to do with his runs. I think what Gray is good at is the “silent” role that never gets attention, which is covering the space to allow fullbacks to attack. So he can slot in and act as a RCB to allow Porro to go forward and utilise his attacking abilities better. This also allows Richy and Tel to get closer to goal where they are at their best too
(4) The next option is when VDV stays back to defend. I still think we need to try and get Porro up the pitch as much as possible, so VDV can slot in as LCB to maintain the cover at the back and you have the added protection of Palhinha in front.
Tel has shown vs Fulham that he can hold width and drive inwards, but when he does he will probably need an overlapping run from someone else so that’s where Sarr needs to get involved more in this case imo.
This way you still have midfield and defensive protection for counters but we get our available players in their best positions.

@DF93k @centregoals @SkySports @MattHughesMedia Im not saying Gallagher isn’t on that wage I’m saying so is Romero so he isn’t our highest paid player.
English

@hengy @centregoals @SkySports Please use a bit of critical thinking, it's obvious we decided to up our wage budget last summer seeing as we stuck the incoming players on relatively high wages, Levy or not.
Despite all this, Gallagher's wages has already been confirmed by a verified journo @MattHughesMedia
