Now retired after 46 years service in the Housing industry








We had a Northenden trip as part of the @placesforpeople activities, we went for a pub lunch and we paid for their main meal, and then we went back to the scheme & had a few Bingo with prizes. Everyone enjoyed it. It gave us chance to learn about all their old jobs and families.

We had a games afternoon with Afternoon Tea at Bury this week with residents of Ashton lodge and Hamilton house - it was fabulous. We had a quiz and games and then had sandwiches,cakes, quiche, pork pies - lovely, funded by @placesforpeople and @SHAPELancashire






We went to Temping Bowling in Chorley this week with Ravensthorpe and Harewood. Two of the women had not played for 40yrs -a great time was had by all. We then went onto Calico lounge for lunch- funded by @placesforpeople

Yesterday we went to Liverpool on the Albert Docks with people from Clifton House, St. Paul’s and Ribble Court from Preston. We had a lovely lunch and had a look round some of the shops, we all had a great time. Funded by @placesforpeople and @SHAPELancashire


We're delighted to announce that @SamS_Muir has been appointed as our new Group Chief Executive. 🟣

We were at Hornby Court, Blackburn yesterday with our mobile cinema watching the Windermere children, every body enjoyed it. We finished of with Pie and Peas and cakes and biscuits. Funded by @placesforpeople and @SHAPELancashire

We had a Games and Art and Craft afternoon at Clifton House, Fulwood this week. They were so excited to see us. We had lots of laughs on the games table with pick up sticks, pairs memory game, and the craft table made suncachters, we ended with a game of bingo @placesforpeople







Mary is working 1-1 with a customer experiencing poor mental health to reduce isolation&encourage small steps, Mary received a text to say.."Thank you for your encouragment yesterday, I'm up and dressed&on the bus for a run out!" This is such a huge step in our customers journey.

Julie has worked tirelessly to find an appropriate cleaner for one of @placesforpeople elderly Befriending Customers who has had bad experiences with letting people in her home before. Julie has found the perfect person and our customer is extremely pleased. Well done Julie!
