Will our people in finance and BOU tell us if the Internet shutdown had any effect? In case kept moving on well without it, they can actually just turn it off completely since thats our level of civilisation. Thats our Agrarian society @Tatian27 @SemweyaMusoke @cobbo3 @kasujja

If you have not seen functional, it is difficult to appreciate that where you are is dysfunctional.

Our leaders should share the goodness of our social services through their lived experiences. Just simply share how the public schools have benefited your children and how your household was saved by the health system. Hope you dont wish wine for some and not clean water for all

@AlanPaulCourage @drhill22 @richard_atuhrwe @musallan Am sure within the 45 million of us,we can find a solution. But first step is to findout who is currently benefiting from the lie that health care is free. Cause to some extent that lie has stopped us from innovating ourselves out of the catastrophic out of pocket expenditures

We need to make our social services health and education functional for everyone. If we can't make health services functional for the least in our society, why do you imagine that when you will need health care, it will be functional for you? @drhill22 @richard_atuhrwe @musallan

We need to realise that our greatest resource is the human resource. That's why those who invest in the education and health of their people send them over to exploit the resources of those communities who think minerals are the greatest resource @SemweyaMusoke @musallan @drhill22

@preeclampsia @MySMFM @apec_gh It is undeniable that women in sub-saharan Africa are disproportionately affected by mortality and morbidity from preeclampsia. It may reflect the vulnerabilities in the health system and not necessarily a different phenotype of the disease that is more severe in this setting.

@preeclampsia @MySMFM @apec_gh Thank you for this. We have to encourage scientists in Sub Saharan Africa to have robust observational studies that will help us understand our risk factors. Cause sometimes we model factors around a western centric gaze

We say high blood pressure in pregnancy is common among blacks.Does that translate into a risk for all black women globally? Or is this contextual observation? That,in environments with white people, the blacks are more at risk? Is it a genetic construct or a social determinant?
