I think not enough people are talking about Laporte.
Laporte at his peak was consistently getting ignored by Deschamps, couldn’t get a France call up, despite being France’s best centre back at the time.
So he switched allegiance to Spain.
Ended up surpassing what he would have won with France. Both a Euros and World Cup to his name.

Karl Ravech has been at ESPN since 1993. He was coming up on his 35th anniversary with the company. To find out he had been fired on social media and by a reporter calling for confirmation is beyond brutal. His bio has already been removed from ESPN.

The scary thing here is that IMAX can't build any more new projectors. (They apparently don't have a complete set of the engineering blueprints, most of the engineers who designed them have retired or passed away, and the parts supply chains have long since dried up.) So the goal for the foreseeable future is to upgrade and keep all the existing projectors running for as long as they can.

Ryan Clark's firing from ESPN was influenced by his perceived poor verbal conduct, particularly toward colleague Peter Schrager. On "Get Up" last September, after Schrager defended Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb's performance in a season-opening loss, Clark said, "That's the non-player in you."
